After my and Dimitri's wild afternoon under the sheets, we changed back into our clothes and decided to head home. Since everything was sorted out and there wasn't much to be done about Beatrice. We'd arrange for her to go shopping tomorrow and after some days initiate her as an official member of the pack.

"Make her feel at home, she's been through an ordeal and it's bound to take an emotional toll on her if not dealt with rationally," Dmitri was telling Mom as he and I were getting ready to leave.
"What do we tell the other pack members if they ask about her?" Mom asked folding her arms across her chest.

"If they ask tell them she's staying with us until I can get some things sorted out," Dimitri replied. "Don't reveal anything that's  confidential. I can't risk anyone getting the wrong idea about her. If anyone finds out I allowed her to stay with us when she's been a rouge for three years, my reputation where rouges are concerned will be taken for granted."

"I understand dear, not to worry your dad and I have everything under control," mom said squeezing Dimitri's hand reassuringly.
"We have no double you do, bye Mom see you soon," I waved through Dimitri's window and smiled at my mother-in-law.

"Yes dear, goodbye I'll call you later if anything changes. Drive safely, I love you both," Mom blew us a kiss and Dimitri reversed out of the driveway and drove off. For a while we hardly spoke, both of us were absorbed in our own thoughts. Until Dimitri got a message on his phone.

"Who is it from babe?" I asked touching up my pale pink lipstick that matched with the pink turtleneck sweater I wore after my shower. Dimitri had a habit of treating my neck like a lollipop whenever we had sex and no matter how much I tried to stop him from doing that, it never seemed to bother him. Believe me I tried.

"It's a message from Alvin, he wants to meet us asap to discuss some things he found out about Ravenna," Dimitri said.
"Where does he want to meet?" I wanted to know.
"He wants to meet for dinner, he got a reservation at Grand Lux Cafè. And the information he has will be better served in private,"

I nodded and picked up my bag just as Dimitri drove into our garage and parked the car. We got out and went inside. It was around three o'clock and Alvin wanted to meet at six so Dimitri and I had three hours to get ready.

The Grand Lux Cafè was a very prominent restaurant and getting reservations was hard, especially if you weren't high class civilians, if you were an Alpha or Luna or Beta or associated with them. I've only been there once, for my birthday and believe you me it was extravagant. Dimitri spoiled me rotten.

"Why don't we watch a movie while we're waiting? We just have to change anyway so we have time on our hands," Dimitri said.
"Sure but can we at least have a sandwich? I'm starving," I said.
"We'll ruin our appetites," Dimitri protested.
"It's a sandwich we're having. Breakfast was ages ago," I insisted.

Picking up the bag of whole wheat bread I took out four slices and the ham and cheese. I made two sandwiches, poured two glasses of orange juice and spying the bag of potato chips in the pantry, I took that out too, put everything on a tray and carried it upstairs.
Dimitri was already scrolling through the channels when I placed the food on the bed and sat next to him.

"Let's watch Divergent," Dimitri said.
"Okay sure, let's watch that," I agreed handing him his sandwich. So Dimitri clicked on Divergent and we watched it while having our lunch, as late as it was. The movie was really good and by the time it was over, it was time for us to start getting ready to go.

While Dimitri was in the shower I set out our clothes. When he was out I went in. The hot water felt great on my skin as I took my shower. Ten minutes later I emerged in my towel, Dimitri was just putting on his clothes. I glanced at the clock and saw it was five fifteen. My clothes were already on the bed. I changed quickly and went to check my reflection in the mirror.

The black dress looked good and the gold bangles and necklace really complimented the outfit. I put on some minimal makeup and curled my hair a bit to looknixe. Dimitri was already dressed and unswoee the outfit he wore looked perfect on him.

The jeans hugged him and the purple shirt made him look stunning. After double-checking everything was in place we locked up and went outside to the car. Dimitri got in and we drive off to go to the cafè to have a word with Alvin regarding ravenna. I was braced for impact. Ever since we had that attack that day, Ravenna and her brother Vasili went nuts, hellbent on revenge.
I wonder what stories Alvin dug up this time.
