The thunderstorm had subsided subsequently drenching the ground. Everything was wet and muddy and several trees have been stripped of their leaves. Some of our wolves were outside cleaning up the debris of the aftermath of the storm. While the storm outside was over and everything getting back to normal, the real storm was just beginning.

"He's coming for me, Marcus is coming for me! He said so himself, he wants me back, he's coming!" I wailed as I clutched Mom's shoulder while crying. It has been two hours since I came back from the forest, two hours since I've set my eyes on the monster that destroyed my life. The monster that ruined me and was coming back for round two.

Dimitri was furious as he paced the courtyard. Our Betas, Gammas and Deltas were here as were the wolves who were supposed to be on border patrol. Marcus had somehow entered Crimson Blood territory and since it was near impossible for just anyone to trespass onto our land, Dimitri was demanding to know how such a foolish mistake could occur. He was not happy.

"Marcus trespassed onto our territory! I demand to know how such a perfunctory act was carried out and by whom!" Dimitri shouted in his Alpha voice. The wolves bowed their heads submissively as they listened to Dimitri's shouting. Some of them were already on their knees, ready to plead for their lives.

Regardless of the fact that Dimitri would never purposely inflict harm on an innocent unless they had done something to betray or otherwise hurt him or the ones he loved, that knowledge didn't stop wolves from cowering in fear of their Alpha. Who could blame them? Dimitri after all was not known worldwide for his warm and fuzzy personality.

To an outsider or subordinate, Dimitri was like any other alpha. Cold. Strict. Dominant and above all discompassionate to all those who betrayed him. A few weeks ago a vampire tried to touch me and then use his compulsion to make me forget. I was shopping with Bria for a gift for a friend and he approached me.

The store was full of humans and since werewolves cannot show their true nature to one because of the law that prohibits it, I couldn't shift and defend myself and risk them seeing me in my wolf form. So I mndlinked Dimitri and told him. He was in the store two doors down and came in seconds.

He first pulled the vampire outside, out of the view of the humans and he promptly snapped his neck after breaking the arm that he used to touch me. He soaked the body in gasoline and burnt it. The story was told to our pack and Dimitri promised to do the same to anyone who dared to touch me. And now, back to the present predicament at large. Confessions.

"Who was supposed to be guarding the east side of the territory?!" Dimitri demanded as he pinpointed a glare at the wolves who were responsible for conducting border patrol that evening.
"Alpha we received a message to gather at the west territory to investigate an accident of one of our comrades," a warrior named Ellian confessed.

"When did you receive this message and from whom did you receive it?" Dimitri wanted to know.
"Sometime before the storm we received a written note with clear instructions to meet at the west side of the territory," Ellian responded while maintaining eye contact with Dimitri.

"Who sent you the note?" Dad asked from his spot next to Dimitri.
"We received the note from Delta Vincent Mr Chekhov,"
"That's not true, I never sent any message Ellian you must've been mistaken. I have been busy all day," Vincent denied.
Ellian stuck her hand into her pocket and pulled up a folded piece of paper, its words etched in black ink.
