Artemis
"The first thing you're going to do is apologize to Mom and Dad for the rude behavior you displayed yesterday. They must've already lost sleep last night due to the letter, an apology will be nice don't you think?" I asked as I pulled down my miniskirt. Not liking the way it looked with my complexion I traded it for a black one.

"They didn't tell me anything about the letter. This is my pack, my anger is justified," Dimitri responded.
Standing in front of the mirror wearing a black jacket over a white t-shirt and a pair of black knee high leather boots with the black miniskirt, I frowned disapprovingly at my mate.

We had just woken up and taken a shower and we're preparing to leave to go home.Feeling guilty over Dimitri's behavior yesterday I urged him to apologize to his parents before we left. But of course all alphas had their stubborn streak that expected wolves to bow down and submit to them. A need to always be right.

"Dimitri they're your parents, they're worried about their son. You were angry because they didn't tell you about the letter yes, but I'm sure whatever they did, it was for your benefit," I said calmly.
"Artemis I'm not a child, I'm sure whatever it was in that letter,I could've handled," he insisted.

Checking the time on my wristwatch I saw that it was seven forty five. Fifteen minutes until breakfast. Satisfied with my attire for the day I walked out of the Alpha's Chambers with Dimitri behind me. Just as we were walking down the hall I saw three girls walking in the opposite directions.

They saw Dimitri and began to whisper and giggle. I rolled my eyes at their immaturity. One of them with black hair, tanned skin and blue eyes passed by us and brushed her chest against Dimitri's arm and Caroline growled, not at all comfortable with anyone touching our mate. Especially not another female.

Despite the fact that Dimitri was my mate, that didn't really deter the other she wolves from flirting with him. It pissed me off because I was their Luna and they acted like I was invisible. I figured it was my age that stopped them from taking me seriously. It was either that or my height. I looked to be a highschool senior.

"Excuse me Luna, your mother-in-law is downstairs and she wishes to speak to you," one of the three girls said respectfully.
"Did she want just me? Or Dimitri as well?" I asked.
"With both of you, she's in the kitchen with your Mr Chekhov,"
"Alright thank you," I said appreciatively.

Taking Dimitri by the hand I walked quickly down the hall and down the stairs to the kitchen passing my father on the way.
"Good morning Daddy," I stopped and gave him a hug and a kiss.
"Good morning, did my little princess sleep well last night?" he asked kissing me back whole stroking my hair.

"I slept fine. Mom wants me in the kitchen so I'm gonna go, then after breakfast Dimitri and I are going back home," I said.
"Okay off you go then," he patted my shoulder and walked past us.
"It's nice that you gave a good relationship with you father," Dimitri noted as we continued on our way to the kitchen.

"Yes it is. We're very close and that's a good thing because he's the only family I have besides those at Celestial Moon," I said a little sadly. "Mother hates me so does Alec. He's the only one who genuinely cares about me. Then there's all of you."
Dimitri wrapped an arm around my waist and I looked up at him.

"Don't be disheartened my love, you're surrounded by people who love you. Don't focus on those who are too self-absorbed and conceited to see you for who you are or too selfish to open their hearts and be a part of your life," he said soothingly.
