"You're gonna confess already?!"

I darted my eyes towards Soobin in shock, he simply nodded and snuggled his pillow. I stood up from his study desk and stood right beside his bed.

"What's the matter? I expected something like you cheering me on,"

"Don't you think we're going a bit too fast here? One moment you're gushing over her and then the next you're gonna confess your love! Let's slow down shall we?"

"And let other boys get to her? No way, Yeonha."

"Jiyoung either doesn't care about boys or hates them, you have nothing to worry about!"

I'm not stopping him from confessing to Jiyoung, Like I said I'll support him no matter what— But I think he's going too fast, no actually, I know he's going too fast.

"What? Is that how you motivate your best friend?!"

Oh no, does he think I want to fight? Soobin is a handful when he's mad.

"Soobin, I don't wanna argue over something small again, can we please just have a normal conversation?"

"You started this I'm just playing along with you!"

I rolled my eyes and massaged my head, taking deep breaths to calm myself down.

"I never started anything, I'm just giving you a reality check because if you confess to Jiyoung already and she rejects you, not only will you get heartbroken but you will also ruin your friendship. Do you want that to happen?"

"What do you know about what I feel for her?!"

"What does that even have to do with anything about what I just said?! I'm trying to have a calm talk with you, Soobin but you're the one who's being immature here!"

"Immature? When have I ever been immature, Yeonha?! I spent my entire life taking care of and looking after you, I never even had time to take care of myself! And the only time I finally want to be selfish, you tell me what to do and what to feel!"

My pupils dilated, I stayed rooted in my place. My stomach knotted into a ribbon and I felt like I forgot how to breathe for a moment.
