"Rise and shine, sleeping beauty!"
Jiyoung's sleepy eyes fluttered open. It was early on a Saturday yet the sun is already wrapping the world in its light, she levered herself up and look around while smacking her lips together.
"Ooh, it looks like you had a long night."
The masculine voice that came from beside her made Jiyoung snap her head to her right side, there she saw a blurry figure sitting on the floor, she didn't need her glasses to know who it was.
"Why does mom always let you in at the most random times? And what are you doing here so early?!" Croaked Jiyoung as she squinted her eyes to get a better look at Beomgyu.
"Correction; it's your dad who let me in, your mom is currently absent."
"Why? Where is she?"
"No clue."
"Are you that motivated to ruin my day that you come here at like 8 a.m?"
Beomgyu handed Jiyoung her glasses "It's almost 1 p.m."
The girl's drowsy eyes shot open upon hearing the time, she immediately took her glasses from his hand and grabbed her phone from the bedside table to check the time. It is indeed almost 1 p.m.
"YOU'VE BEEN WATCHING ME SLEEP ALL MORNING?!"
"No. I've been here all morning, I just came up here 5 minutes ago to check if you're still alive."
"Okay, I slept in and you stayed here for half the day? Don't you have things to do?"
"Let me back you up a bit, princess. it's Soobin and Yeonha's birthday today and we're gonna go tango to the amusement park with them."
Jiyoung's jaw dropped, she had completely forgotten about Soobin and Yeonha's birthday and the whole amusement park thing.
"They're coming to pick us up in T-minus 30 minutes, so if I were you I'd kick-start my day." Beomgyu drawled and watched Jiyoung do her bed, the result looking no different from before.
"Yes, I know and if I were you, I'd get out of my room before I drag you by the hair."
Beomgyu dreamily sighed, his eyes never leaving the girl who's digging her entire closet out in hopes to find a good combination of clothes for the day.
"I could get used to a view like this." Beomgyu professed, half-jokingly.
"A view like what?" Jiyoung did not refrain from rummaging her closet, not even glancing at Beomgyu.
"When we get married and stuff, I'll see your grumpy snoring face first thing every day just like right now-"
His bubble was burst by Jiyoung throwing a hoodie of hers square on Beomgyu's face, and it was enough to silence him.
"In your dreams, asshole. Now get out!"
"With pleasure, princess."

"You ate my egg and bacon sandwich?!"
"You weren't gonna wake up anytime sooner so I just had to take the chance,"
"You don't just go randomly eating someone's sandwich!"
"Oh but you're not just a random someone- plus! It was basically rotting in the kitchen, it would've been all soggy if I didn't eat it. You're welcome."
Jiyoung took deep breaths to restrain herself from inverting Beomgyu's ribcage. Like usual, they're just having their regular bickering sessions, only now it's in front of Jiyoung's dad in her living room, waiting for the two best friends to pick them up.
