Hopeless. That was what Beomgyu looked like for the past 3 hours now.
He's been drinking way too much on another rainy night. His hands just can't stop pouring glass after glass, he kept thinking that it'll help him forget about everything even for a short moment but it's only making him feel like shit even more.
Shot after shot, his cries only grew louder within the not-so-crowded bar. No one was looking at him, as if it were just a typical Tuesday with some broken guy crying his heart out on the counter.
He tried fishing his phone out of his pocket, wanting to watch old videos and reminisce pictures of them together, but since he was insanely wasted, he couldn't get a proper grip on his phone and it ended up dropping to the floor, angering him.
"Fuck!" He got down from his seat and tried to pick his phone up, only for another hand to do it for him, which took him by surprise. Beomgyu looked up to see who picked his phone up to see the last person he ever wanted to see; Do Hyerin.
"Beomgyu? What the hell happened-"
"What are you doing here?!" He shot her a glare, snatching his phone back and sitting back down on the high-chair, "Shouldn't you be out there? Where... Where I'm not? I don't want to see you, Hyerin, leave me alone!"
"W-Why are you-"
"Why am I what? A sad, pathetic, little train-wreck that's breaking down and drinking? What part of 'leave me alone' do you not understand?!" Beomgyu grabbed the entire bottle and began chugging down the whole thing.
"You're too drunk to be left alone, stop that!" Hyerin snatched the bottle from his hands and placed it far away from him while he tried and tried resisting her, unaccepting her presence.
"What do you know about staying? Clearly nothing! You left me when I was ready to believe you, A-And now... She left me too! When I was ready to risk it all for her! Why do people always love leaving me behind? W-Why?!" He spluttered as he cried nonstop.
Hyerin's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "She... left? Who is she?"
"Who else, bozo? Jiyoung! She left me... again! Why is everything so fucking unfair?! Nothing I do is enough to make anyone stay! I did so much for her and never asked for anything in return and THIS is how she thanks me! WOW! Just WOW! Amazing, right?" Beomgyu turned to her, eyes still filled with tears.
"I STAYED! I LITERALLY STAYED COUNTLESS OF TIMES! I ALWAYS FOUND A REASON TO STAY BUT IT ONLY TOOK HER ONE! ONE! ONE FUCKING THING TO LEAVE! AND I WAS BEYOOOONNDDDD READY TO TAKE THAT ONE THING AWAY JUST SO SHE COULD STAY! BUT SHE DIDN'T! WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS?!" He continued while pointing at himself.
He sniffed, "TELL ME! I LOVED HER THE BEST WAY I COULD! WHY DID SHE END UP LEAVING ME BEHIND AGAIN?! I WAS READY TO TURN MY BACK ON MY DREAMS AND GOALS FOR HER! BUT WHY DID SHE TURN HER BACK ON ME INSTEAD?! TELL ME, HYERIN?!"
All he felt towards Jiyoung at the moment was pure rage, fiery, and anger. It didn't last for long though, he can't stay mad at her for long. He loves her too much to even be a little unhappy with her. His furious facade slowly faded away as his features softened with each coming second before he turned his head back towards the bar counter, emotionless.
