Yeonha and I haven't talked properly in days.

She doesn't wanna cooperate with me so I'll just let her be and give her the time she needs to recover from... What happened.

Do I regret kissing her? Nope. Not at all.

I can't put her privacy at stake just because I didn't wanna kiss her. I can't do that. Yes, she maybe a pain in the ass but she's still my friend and I love her.  I would do anything to keep her away from danger.

I don't wanna lose her.

I heard multiple knocks on my bedroom door while stayed fixed on my bed, lying like a robot and staring at the ceiling.

"Sir? Your alarm has been going off for the past 13 minutes now. I'm afraid you'll be late for class if you don't wake up sooner or later." One of our maids reminded me.

I've been up since 5:30 actually. But since our maid has a point I got up, turned my alarm off then started fixing my bed.

No, I don't get breakfast in bed nor do I get my bed done for me. Both our parents taught us to be independent at a young age in order to survive the real world once we handle the company. We don't always have it easy despite being crazy rich.

As I buttoned up my blazer to complete my school uniform, I hastily made my way down on our giant staircase, already hearing plates and kitchen utensils clanging downstairs. Presumably, because the maids are preparing my food.

But what I saw instead shocked me to the core. My mom and dad were having breakfast together, In our house and not in their office. That's a rare sight.

"Oh, Soobin? You're up?" My mom greeted and gestured for me to join them.

I have to join them either way, besides... I get to spend time with them before they go insane over their jobs again. I can't blame them, having a kid and a company at the same time is a big responsibility.

I didn't question their rare appearance in our household, I just savored the moment before it ends.

"So, how was your trip to Jeju island? Did you enjoy it there?" My dad asked.

"It was fun. I made a lot of memories with my friends." I smiled and shoved a spoonful of food into my mouth.

"That's good to hear... Did Yeonha cause any trouble again?" They took turns in asking questions.

I simply shook my head whilst chewing on my food.

"How is she doing by the way? is she doing great with her academics?" God, it's always about her and never about me.

"She's creating less trouble than before. Which I think is pretty good because that also means less headaches for me."

"I heard she's been cooped up in her room for the past few days? Is that true Soobin?"

I shrugged "We don't always talk, she has other businesses too."

My mother frowned "You can't have that kind of teamwork when you enter the working industry? How are you two going to come to terms with simple decisions in the future?"

When will they realize that I'm also their son and not just some chaperone for Yeonha?

"We're not fighting, mom. I see her everyday, we don't always have to be together. She has a mind of her own and so do I. It's pretty unfair if even my personal life revolves around her,"

"That's not what we meant, Soobin. We just want you two to be prepared for your future, the business industry is far more competitive than you think." My dad objected.
