This is my very first complete story on Wattpad and I am very excited to share it! I will be updating with a new chapters twice a week (Mondays and Fridays at 4 pm GMT) until all the 25 chapters + the prologue and the epilogue are published. Looking forward to share all of this with you 🎀🫶
Btw, criticism is all welcome as I'm not a native speaker and still working on my English skills 📚💭
🚨 Before I continue, I would like to announce some disclaimers: 🚨
First and foremost: None of the characters are based on real people! I have only used my environment as a source of inspiration, as probably most writers do (at least subconsciously). Yes, some characters might share traits with people I know but this is already where the similarities end ‼️
Secondly: some moments in this book might seem a little unrealistic and exaggerated... this is called ✨dramatisation✨ The idea was to convey the feelings the protagonist is experiencing in the strongest possible way, with no consideration of whether it's realistic or not... 💭
Thirdly: I do not live in London and have only been there once some six years ago, therefore I have little to no experience with the daily life of a London habitant. Most locations are based on google maps and co., and the ambiences I describe are what I imagine it to be like or what I have googled. So, there are definitely inaccuracies, please forgive me 🙈
What I'd also like to say is: I am a former competitive swimmer and currently a high school senior studying the IB diploma programme. In these aspects, I know what I am talking about. However, there are differences in competitive swimming as well as in the IB all around the world. Don't hesitate to comment if something is disturbing you, is unfamiliar, or just feels off 💌
Additional remark: Whatever is already published might not be the final version of the book! There is always room for improvement. I am very positive, that the storyline will stay the same forever but it's possible that I'll have a new idea and change some passages language-wise or based on the comment I receive from you. I hope this will work and not confuse anyone 🤞
