Finding the real Tony Stark

Part three

The creepy ass man puts the arc back in.
"Well those soldiers really did a number on you but nothing we can't fix. Never thought I would be able to see this with my own eyes but here I am. Boys."

Out of nowhere two big men with masks grabbed Tony dragging him to a chair which immediately made Bucky gasp and start to hyperventilate.

"N-n-n-no... NO! They're using the fucking chair... the chair Steve. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS!?" He now screams. Everyone stares at him a little curious.
"Buck calm down what is is?" Steve says.

"When I told you about the chair... this is what I was talking about! They took my memories... it hurt so fucking bad Steve! So bad..." now Bucky was a big mess on the floor crying, sobbing.
"T-the worst part..."
He sniffed, "he doesn't blame me"
Just like that everyone shut up. The voice now said.
"I'm so sorry I brought this up James. I don't want you to watch this." Bucky fell into a deep sleep so he couldn't hear, see or remember that part.

"All we have to do is give you a small dose of this and trigger it since it's in you. It just needs to be awoken after all these years."
The doctor sticks a needle in Tony's arm so the same thing that happened to little Tony in the video earlier happened to the now Tony on screen.

Again his back arched in pain making everyone wince and look away.
His ear piercing screams echoed around the the room that made Pepper break and go snuggle into her family for comfort. They may not be dating anymore but she still cared for him.

After a minute he went limp and the doctors copied what Howard did in the video including the slap.

"Ten.
White.
Wolf.
Wrench.
Pointless.
Seven.
Empty." Again Tony's eyes changed from warm brown to ice cold blue.

Bruce had started to turn a little green. A mixture of sickness and the Hulk. His best friend had been experimented on just like him except probably a bit worse. In the back of his head hulk was shouting.
TIN MAN HURT. BAN MEN HURT TIN MAN MUST PROTECT. It was honestly giving him a headache. Surprisingly Thor was the one to go comfort him.

"Time for your first task soldier... follow me"
The doctor grinned madly before letting Tony follow him to a new hall that had 5 rooms.4 of the doors had worn out signs that said torture on the front and the faith just said Asset.

"Let's go into room number one. We don't want you to remember anything do we."

They walked into the room and the avengers visibly paled. Steve was so glad Bucky was still asleep and didn't have to see this.

The doctor strapped Tony down then went to the control panel.

"3...2...1"
He pulled the lever down.

Immediately Tony screamed. But like 100000million times louder. It was way worse. You could see the pain in his eyes and the way his body reacted thrashing about. Veins popped out, you could just tell it was fucking horrible.

Everyone was looking away or staring in shock eyes wide. Tony Stark wasn't supposed to look like that... no! He's Tony Stark he shouldn't be in a situation like that... many people were throwing up, seeking comfort from others, glaring daggers at Steve and Howard or ready to fucking kill the man or something.

Steve glanced at Buckys limp form. His best friend went through this... what's worse is he made an innocent man get like this.

~ok so my lazy ass cba to write more of this bit so basically more torture for afew days blah blah blah, missions, breaking him and that jazz. Ima skip to him trying to remember then Nat and Peter saving him dun nu nu nu nu. Nu nu nu nuuuuuu.~

This time when Tony walked in he looked more like the winter soldier but with short trimmed hair and a goatee. He also looked younger in general. "Why did you fail me?"
His handler asked. Tony didn't reply so the doctor did.

"I did some scans it looks like he's fighting it.."
"Fighting what"
"The serum and everything basically"
"HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WE PERFECTED IT!?"
"You are right sir we did but it seems Mr Stark is stronger than we thought. When we sent him to kill that traitor, me Barnes, he snapped back like he remembered and he didn't kill him. Nearly got caught there it's like he's fighting against it so we have to keep him isolated so he won't remember anything."

Steve jumped up furious. "What the hell they calling buck a traitor for he did nothing wrong they took him!" He was fuming but Bucky pulled him down to stop drawing attention. Nearly the whole of New York was already watching them.

Bucky felt so bad right now though. He knew what happened when you fail... you get punished. And by the looks of it this isn't going to be nice since they need to stop him from fighting it. 'It's my fault! no it's not... YES IT IS' kept replaying in his head.
