"HEY, YOU okay?" I asked Snow when I saw her staring at the ceiling looking like her mind was flying off the galaxy.
"Oh, you're here." She said. Kumunot naman ang noo ko dahil patay niyang sinabi 'yon at nanatiling nakatingin sa kisame.
Hindi niya 'ko naramdaman pumasok? What the hell is wrong with this woman?
Lumapit ako sa kanya at nilagay sa magkabilang bewang ko ang mga kamay. "Okay, what's bothering you?" taas kilay kong tanong.
"Nothing."
"That's bullshit."
Ngumisi naman siya bago umayos ng upo. I met her cold stare. She's smirking but her eyes are dead. I couldn't find any emotions in there.
This girl has a serious problem.
"I just..." she opened her mouth but closes it again.
"What?!" I asked impatient.
Snow sighed. "I just felt disappointed," she looked away, "at myself, ok. It's been two years yet I haven't told Kurt-san and Levi-san that I have twins, that they have more siblings other than me. And you guys deserve to be known as White." She let out.
Natahimik naman ako sa sinabi niya at napabuntong hininga. Ayon lang naman pala.
"Snow, it's okay, we understand. Kurt and Levi are busy, you guys seldom talk to each other these past few months. And it's okay if we stay as Quizon, we actually prefer it that way. It's still a family name." I said.
Napatitig naman siya sakin. Well, I am right though. Quizon is our father's surname but since our mother side is Japanese, father took the surname White instead when they got married because that's how it works. Kailangan ipagpatuloy ang apilyedong White dahil first born si mamshie at siya ang panganay at walang lalaki sa kanilang magkapatid so...
"But still-"
"Snow, it's fine. You acknowledging us as your twin and having you is already enough. Tsaka na muna sina Levi kapag may oras na sila sa iyo... ahm, sa atin." Aniko.
I saw her sighed before nodding. Aba ayon lang naman pala ang problema niya. I mean It's really fine with us to stay as Quizon not White, and even if we wanna meet the other siblings, we understand that they're busy handling the family business. Kahit nga si Snow hindi manlang makita-kita sa personal ang mga kuya paano pa kaya kami?
"So... how about the vacation? Do you have plans?" Me changing the topic.
Binigyan kasi kami ni Boss ng two year vacation. Aba nga naman sinapian ng kakaibang ispiritu si Boss at naging mabait. Akalain mo 'yon, two damn years vacation bro?
"Ewan. Baka mag pahinga lang ako. I'll go back to States and freaking damn study or burn some schools if I ever get bored." Snow answered.
"Hayup ka talaga."
Snow shrugged and look at her. "Do you want to come?"
Tempting offer but, "nah, graduating na rin naman kami ni Al. Maybe on college." I said. Tumango ulit siya at tumayo na. "O sa'n punta?"
"D'yan lang papahangin." Sabi niya at naglakad na papalabas.
"Wouy balik agad. Parating narin si Al!" Sigaw ko dahil nakalayo na siya.
Nag thumbs up lang 'to habang patuloy naglalakad at nanatiling nakatalikod. Nailing nalang ako. Awit talaga ang isang 'yon.
