(Janet's POV)

“Jeremy!” I screamed loudly, but he had disappeared with that light. I couldn't understand what happened. I felt as if I had lost him forever. I was just thinking about the doom that had happened, when I suddenly started feeling dizzy and my vision went dark.

I woke up with a pounding headache and found myself lying on the couch. I saw that it was an unfamiliar living room and was startled to realize that I was in a stranger's house.

“Where the hell am I?” I whispered.

The whole room was quiet. I got up from the couch and was about to call out to see if anyone was there but I stopped when I heard a woman's voice.

“Hello Janet!”  The whole room echoed with her voice and I turned in the direction of the voice and my eyes widened in shock when I saw her.

“Remember me?” she asked with a sinister smile.

“Mrs Bennett…no Cassandra!” I said in shock.

“That's right,” she said firmly, coming closer to me.

To be honest, I wasn't scared of her at all. After what she did to Jeremy and Professor Morgan, I wanted to rip her head off. I wonder how many innocent people she's killed in this bloody game.

“Where am I?” I asked.

“In my house,” she said.

“Why am I here?” I asked sternly, but she didn't answer.

I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth and asked her, “Where is Jeremy?”

“Seriously Janet! You're not scared of me? Oh, you're a witch too.” She said mockingly.

“Stop your blether and answer my question. Where is Jeremy? What did you do to him?” I asked fiercely.

“Calm down, Janet. I didn't do anything to him. He made a mistake, so he's paying for it,” she said.

“What do you mean?” I asked her.

“You're not that naive, Janet. If you know I'm Cassandra, you must know about the Spell World. You must also know what happens when a human soul breaks the rules of the Spell World…” She paused for a moment and then said, “He called me a beast.”

I tried to recall everything I'd read about the Spell World, and I remembered that human spirits aren't allowed to behave in any way negatively toward witches, even if it's defensive. They can't do or say anything negative to a witch. If Jeremy called Cassandra a beast, then obviously nothing good would happen to him, and the thought itself gave me goosebumps.

“He's right. You're a beast. And if he has to suffer even a little for telling the truth…” I said, but she interrupted me, “So? So what? So what will you do?” And I had no idea what to say because I really didn't know what to do at the moment.

“Well, there's no point wasting time on all this nonsense, so let's get down to business, and the most important thing to me right now is you, Janet,” she said.

“Say it clearly that you want to kill me and that is why you have kidnapped me.” I said sternly and she started laughing like a maniac.

“C'mon Janet! I didn't kidnap you. I just brought you to my house to tell you that your days of peace are about to end,” she said.

“What a great way to bring someone into your house and what good news you told me. You know what Cassandra, whatever you're planning to do, it won't work.” I said sarcastically.

“Oh now don't say that you are afraid of death,” She said.

I laughed and said, “How could you be so stupid Cassandra? You can not
kill me.” I said.

“Why?” She asked, confused.

“What if I make my last wish to rot you in some place even worse than hell. You must be knowing about the 'gift' of
psychic witches and I think that's why you are here. Am I right?” I asked and smirked.

She was a little taken aback and asked, “So now you are challenging me, little girl?”

“Yes, I am,” I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

“Same mistake. Katherine made the same mistake.” She whispered but loud enough to hear.

“You're challenging me for no reason, because I'm going to win, that's obvious. But I'll accept anyway, because I don't want to underestimate the abilities of a new witch,” she said.

Hearing her words, my blood boiled. I turned around and saw a knife on the table next to the fruit basket. I stared at the knife and used my telekinetic powers, and it flew like an arrow, hitting her right in the neck. She screamed in pain and fell on the floor and blood started flowing profusely from her neck.

“Aaaaaaaaaahh…you...ahh... you have to pay for it Janet.” She growled in anger and pain.

“Oh, I am so sorry. Is it hurting too much?” I said sardonically and bent down to meet her glare.

“Don't worry you won't die. By the way, I am not a newbie.”  I whispered in her ear and left the house.
