We were standing in front of each other, looking into each other's eyes. There was complete silence all over. I could hear my heartbeat. It felt like we met after centuries.

Breaking the silence, he called my name, "Janet..." I heard this sweet and calm voice after a very long time. For a moment I forgot that he is dead. I ran towards him to hug him. But...I didn't feel his touch, he was just a transparent figure standing in front of me.

"Jeremy.. you are.." I felt like tears will burst from my eyes.

"I am dead Janet. You can not touch a ghost." He said in a gloomy tone.

I never wanted to see him as a ghost. I never wanted this Jeremy, whom I can't hug tightly...whom I can't hit with pillow...whom I can't give a high five...whom I can't even touch...

"Do you have any idea how much I missed you?" I said.

"Janet, since the day I died, I have been trying to meet you... I have been trying to meet you since the day my soul was parted from my body... I missed you too Janet," he said.

"Then why didn't you come? Who is stopping you?" I asked him.

"I can not until you want. I am here because you want me to be here, Janet. I won't be in front of you anymore if you stop thinking about me." he said solemnly. His voice echoed the room.

"No, I won't...I won't stop thinking about you...not for a moment... I won't let you go anywhere, Jeremy." I said.

He slowly approached me and looked at me for a moment and then he said, "I know you have millions of questions in your mind, but before that, I need to tell you something."

"Janet.. your life is in danger. You are in danger." He said quite timidly.

"What do you mean?... Am I going to... die??" I asked. I wished I could die so that I can be with him forever.

"I won't let you, Janet. I won't let anything happen to you." He said. I saw the tears rolling down his cheeks. He was staring at me as he would never gonna see me again. He stood silent for a moment and then finally he asked, "Janet, do you believe it? Do you believe that I committed suicide?"

"Of course not. But what happened that day? Were you mur.. murdered?" I stammered.

He nodded slowly. Pain and suffering were prominently visible in his eyes.

"Who killed you? Who did this to you? I swear I will rip them in shreds." I said furiously.

"Cassandra," Jeremy said.

"Cassandra?" I asked him curiously.

"She killed me. She killed Prof. Morgan and now she wants to kill you." After listening to it, it felt like the ground beneath my feet slipped away. My heart was pounding and I couldn't speak for a moment. But I opened my mouth and stuttered, "wh... what?"

"Janet, don't be afraid..." Before he could finish the sentence I spoke, "Prof. Morgan? Is he dead?" All of a sudden, I remembered what Prof. Campbell had told, "Prof. Morgan left the town."

"Why? And who the hell is this Cassandra?..... Jeremy, I couldn't get anything?" I asked him and was getting anxious.

"Janet relax, just calm down. I will tell you everything." He said and then stood silent for a few moments.

We both were silent just looking at each other surprisingly. He sighed and finally started to speak. "Janet she is here. Cassandra is here and you met her."

"What? I met her? When?" I asked him eagerly.

"When you came to my home after hearing that I am dead, who did you find near my dead body?" Jeremy asked.

"Some cops, Alice and your parents, that's obvious," I said.

"And?" He asked.

"And I found you... I mean...You were...dead" I said sadly.

"And who else Janet? You met someone else, please try to remember" Jeremy said.

I thought a bit and then abruptly remembered his neighbour,"Yes. Your neighbour, Mrs Bennett, she was there. She told me about what had happened and she was the one who called the cops and informed your parents." I said.

Jeremy sighed and said, "She was the one who killed me."

"What?" I said.

"She is a witch..." He said.

"She is Cassandra!" He said and I froze at that moment.
