Nicole POV

I headed out to finish my shift even though I felt like crap. I then forgot my phone in BBD office so I headed back in to grab it and headed to my desk I got to the door and heard Wynonna grunting. "Oh, shit. Out already? Didn't even have time to send flowers." Wynonna said.

"It was just a fancy faint." Bunny said.

"Yeah, the cat made a bed in your ass crack." Wynonna said and I laughed quietly.

"The doctor said I'm fine. I'm as healthy as an ox." She said.

"With the cankles to match." Wynonna bit back.

"Listen. I am just here to tell Officer Haught that despite the day's events, she will not be getting my support." Bunny said.

"She saved your life, you incorrigible bitch." Wynonna pointed out.

"Perhaps. But she does not belong here in Purgatory. She is not our... people." Bunny said.

"Are you a xenophobe, or a homophobe?" Wynonna asked.

"Why pick just one?" Bunny replied.

"Even though it was against her best interest, Nicole did the right thing. She always does the right thing, no matter what. That's the kind of person who should be sheriff." Wynonna explained.

"I'll keep that in mind." Bunny said.

"Bunny... shouldn't we talk about what really happened today? What's really got your pearls all twisted?" Wynonna asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Bunny replied shakily.

"What you saw? Because you saw something, didn't you, Bun Bun?" Wynonna asked.

"It was just a dream, a terrible dream. Like the one where I'm on the cruise ship with all the shirtless... Portuguese sailors." Bunny said.

"Okay, there's a lot to unpack there. But no... you weren't dreaming. See, you think you want to know the things Nedley's been keeping secret. You don't. That monster you saw today, it's just... the tip of the iceberg." Wynonna explained.

"Iceberg?" She asked nervously.

"If you don't back Nicole for sheriff, I am sending that monster and all of his demon friends... to your house." Wynonna threatened.

"You can't and you won't." She said.

"Oh, bless your cold, withered heart. You think it could handle another "fancy faint"? Then Nicole Haught's gonna be the next sheriff. Okay? Have a lovely day." Wynonna said.

"I need to get to church." She said. I heard a thump.

"You gotta book yourself that cruise." Wynonna said. I grabbed a couple of beers and headed through. "How long have you been listening?" She asked.

"It would've been rude to interrupt." I replied.

"Naughty Haughty." She said.

"How's your head? Because... I feel like I can hear space and time. Hair of the dog?" I said.

"Officer Haught. At work?" She said taking a bottle from me.

"Well, some rules are made to be broken." I said.

"Maybe you would be a good wife." She said and I smiled thinking of Waverly.

"Ah, thank you. But you're not my type. You cheat at drinking games." I said before taking a gulp. "Mm-hmm.

"Truce?" Wynonna asked.

"More than a truce. A win." I said.

We took a drink before Wynonna said.
