Waverly POV
The last few weeks have been busy, Wynonna has killed 6 more Revenants. Jeremy and Robin have been on a few more dates. Meanwhile Nicole, Nedley and I have been working on her campaign for Sheriff. Nedley had officially handed in his retirement to the council 3 days after New Years.
We were heading to the fire station to win their support, I had made badges saying vote for Haught. We had picked up some coffee and donuts for everyone. "How's Purgatory's finest this morning?" Nicole said heading into the station.
"Here we go." I said handing coffee to one of them.
"Thank you, sincerely, for all that you do. I know it's not an easy job." Nicole said.
"Nedley calls us hose jockeys." Dan, one of the firemen said.
"Uh, Sheriff Nedley's sense of humour leaves a lot to be desired." I said saving Nicole.
"And rest assured, when I am Sheriff, you will be both respected and supported. I will also pre-order a dozen of your calendars." I said shaking Dan's hand.
"I'm April this year." Dan said taking Nicole's hand.
"Happy Easter to me." Nicole replied sounding like she wanted to die right there and then. We then head the siren from one of the fire engines.
A few minutes later we saw Wynonna coming out one with Charlie. "Nothing to see here. Just an adult woman with adult-woman needs leaving... a fire hall." She explained looking guiltily.
"Let me guess: you need a ride." Nicole said as the three of us headed out.
"I had a ride. I need a nap. And a... ride." Wynonna said.
"So you and Doc, not a thing anymore?" I asked.
"We were never a thing. And I haven't seen him for a week." She said as we left.
We headed out to the car and I asked Nicole to drop me off at Shortys. I kissed them both before heading into the bar.
Nicole POV
Wynonna and I headed back to the station. We were met outside by Nedley. We headed in and heard singing from the jail cells. "What's with the children's choir?" Wynonna asked.
"It's a bunch of Omicron Tau Psis slumming it from the big city. We confiscated their party bus this morning." Nedley answered.
"Who party-buses at 10 a.m.?" I asked.
"The deeply committed." Wynonna asked. We headed into Nedleys office passing my desk, I put my jacket on my chair as I passed.
"Can you guys move that bookcase please." Nedley said. We went over there and tried to push it.
"Push with your legs!" I said.
"Shut up with your mouth. Am I finally gonna see your sex cave?" Wynonna said as we moved it.
"It's more of a closet." He said handing us keys.
"Retired Nedley is kinky." Wynonna said taking her set.
"Everything in there I seized from crime scenes that didn't feel kosher. Ones with supernatural element." Nedley explained.
"Why didn't you turn them over to Dolls?" I asked.
"Well, initially, I wasn't sure I could trust him. Now I know." Nedley answered.
"Whoa. How long have you been hiding this stuff?" I asked seeing inside.
