ENJOY!
The heartbroken look in her eyes gave everything away, tears stained her cheeks as a sob escaped from her throat. She embraced the figure tightly, begging him not to leave her as he clung onto her just as desperately as if she were the very piece of him that he needed.
Her heartbeat sped up as they met eyes, forest green clashed against chocolate brown, different ranges of emotions swirled in both their eyes. Mumbled words were exchanged between the pair, clouds grew grey as the atmosphere changed, the pair walked hand-in-hand to the blue Holden parked across them. Breathing in the girl prepared for what was to come, what she couldn't change no matter what; what was inevitable.
Plastering the best smile she could, she let go of the soft, comforting and calming hand that had been in hers not a moment ago, breathing out she stepped back and looked at the person in front of her. He'd certainly changed over the years; the once bright and mischievous eyes now held love, wisdom and knowledge of the cruel world, the smile that held such a troublesome vibe now was one of sadness, sadness of the departure and, the brown hair that had collected thrown pieces of popcorn now was covered in a masterpiece of curls, defining his features perfectly.
Glancing towards the car and back at him, she'd finally taken notice of the look in his eyes; the emotion of love, pure and true love that was only for her. She'd drown in the river of his love but destiny had other plans, taking one last look of the love of her life she turned; turned away from him, never looking back until the pain in her chest seemed more like a burden than a pain of heartbreak. . . one she knew her heart couldn't handle.
