Goosebumps drew patterns on the old man's skin as he sat on the front porch of his house. The wind growled at the sight in front of him; kids were destroying his garden. The man got up mumbling a load of cuss words before screaming at the kids to get lost.

The man sighed as he resisted the urge to cough, something inside him stirred, pushing against his chest tightly. His vision suddenly became blurry, clutching his head. The man got up and held onto the rail as he walked back inside his house ignoring the sick feeling building up in his chest and the squeezing of his heart.

The man struggled to breathe as he rushed into his room looking for his medicines, with trembling hands the man sorted through his medications looking for the ones for this occasion. He didn't notice the dark shadow hovering over him as it grabbed for the man's throat, holding the man in a choke-hold as the man tried pushing the hands-off but felt nothing around his neck.

His vision faded in and out as his voice came out high-pitched. ''No, Samuel don't do this---'' The man felt himself get thrown against the wall as his back hit the wall he heard a cackle. His eyes rang and his room's windows and a door slammed shut with a loud bang.

''YoU wiLl PaY'' The voice hissed as the man felt his heart slow down and his lungs push against his chest. ''Y-y-you w-won't get-t away wi-th this.'' The man choked out as his body started giving up and soon went limp. His eyes were wide as the voice boomed loudly. ''I already have.''
