The fire crackled and hissed as it put a flame on anything it touched, burning the remaining memories or significance from its core. Fire, something that flowed through her veins. . . her parents had died in a fire; a fire she caused.
Shaking her head she got up, walking towards the shutter she crouched down and slid the plate through to herself and hurriedly ate the food she received. Swallowing the piece of bread she sighed, when would she get out?
Her ears perked when she heard a bang and shout or two. This was her chance and she'd make sure not to waste it. Pushing the food away she stood up, concentrating on the heat and warmth in her hands. Imagining the warmth growing and boiling as the fire finally erupted, snapping her eyes open she burnt the door down with all her strength and might.
Barely registering the security guard she snapped her fingers and he was down, another guard held up his gun with his shaky hands as his eyes were filled with terror, the girl smirked as she saw the reflection of her glowing red eyes.
She ran as the siren rang, indicating another fleeing member of the prison. Growling in frustration she walked to where her instincts took her. She followed the voice in her mind as she watched the people around her shout, shots missed her as she walked in her trance.
She stood in front of a door as it flew open. ''There you are,'' The faded brown-haired man said as a sleep dart was shot in her neck. And in those last few moments, the girl realized she was screwed.
