''This queen don't need a king,

Oh, I don't know what you've been told

But this girl right here's gonna rule the world

Yeah, that's where I'm gonna be because I wanna be

No, I don't wanna sit still, look pretty.''

Listening to the music the girl knew her main priority was to get into University and no one was going to distract her, the only thing a guy would get from her was rejection, nothing more or nothing less. She stared at the canvas in front of her, releasing her bite on the top of the pencil. She decided she'd draw something like a lake reflecting a girl's darkness as the world saw her light.

Drawing the buildings first she decided she'd first get something to eat and then paint. ''Ma, can you tell Jonah to shut up.'' Telling her mother as she closed her room's door behind her. ''Hmmm, what to eat?? What to eat??'' She said in a sing-song voice. ''OOoo, I'll have some banana bread.''

Quickly she walked towards the pantry and grabbed the container with banana bread. Turning around she opened a drawer and took out a plate for herself. ''Ma, do you want some banana bread??'' ''No.'' Almost instantly she heard her mother's voice although it sounded distant. ''I want some.'' There it was; her brother's voice.

''No, get it yourself.''

''Summer, I'll tell Johnny about your crush'' Her brother's voice grew as he came down the stairs.

''Go ahead, besides he's better than all the guys in the world.'' She said as she left the container of banana bread on the counter seeing as her brother had already come this far.

She knew that even if he would tell Johnny he already knew about her 'silly fictional crush'.

Sighing, she walked back into her room already feeling slightly better.
