-WE WILL REMEMBER THEM-

1915-1916

Bullets echoed through the fields of bloodshed,

Letters captured words that were unsaid,

Soldiers held onto moments of happiness, shedding tears as death clung to them

Gasping, fighting till their last breathe,

Coffin's engraved names of the souls whose lives were taken by the bullets concealed from the common people,

Saluting and remembering those with a memorial, a day with the name ANZAC respecting, commemorating, and celebrating those who fought and died in the war.

We will remember them . . . Lest we forget.

A/N= ANZAC DAY POEM, yes I wrote a poem probably one of my best ones, probably not
