I was hit with the melodic voice of my wife as I came searching for her in the kitchen.

I never heard her sing and trust me it's the most melodious voice I have ever listened to. She has that soft pitch to her voice a soft hum that will intoxicate you. Just like how she is.....intoxicating.

She didn't realize I am home yet and is in her world making something for lunch. I leaned back on the wall and crossed my arms admiring her. Admiring her smooth silky hair, her creamy skin, her slim curvy waist......oh don't get me started with that waist! It is so perfect to hold and fits perfectly as if made for me. She is made for me.

Okay! Stop right there Raichand!

Do you know how hard it is to just take your girl to heights of ecstasy but you cannot because you are waiting for the right time?! So fucking hard! I know the effect I have on her and she knows the effect she has on me. But I just want a nice moment for us to do it and not just do it out of.........some rush.

"You came!" My wife's startled voice brought me out of my thoughts and I snapped my head to her.

"I did" I said pushing myself away from the wall and walking towards her.

"When did you come? I didn't hear you" she asked stirring something in the pot.

"When you were humming some song and swaying your hips sexily" I said and hugged her from behind turning her face towards me so I can kiss her.

"Mmm" she moaned breathlessly as I took her juicy lips in mine and kissed her like a hungry man.

"I am preparing lunch. Wait for ten minutes it will be done" she said breathlessly as we pulled away and turned towards the stove. Even though we kissed multiple times and even almost see each other naked, every time I kiss her you can't miss the slight hue of red on her cheeks which creeps up her neck. It's so adorable and I am not a man who uses that word a lot.

I let her do her work and hugged her from back circling my arms around her and keeping my chin on her shoulder inhaling the lavender smell of her hair.

"You came early today? Any particular reason?" She asked leaning back on me slightly.

I shrugged replying "just wanted to come home and see you"

My words though made her breath hitched and I smirked a little.

"Hmm" she just hummed and again started humming a song. It was silent for a bit with the kitchen filling up with a delicious smell and ringing with my wife's hums.

I felt at peace just staying like that with her.

"We have to attend a gala tonight" I said rubbing my nose on the valley of her neck.

"What gala?" Madira asked confused turning off the stove and turning towards me.

"Some business partners of mine are hosting a ball, gala whatever party and they invited us. After our marriage, we haven't gone anywhere like a public appearance and so Dad and Mom wanted us to go. They want us to enjoy ourselves it seems" I said shrugging my shoulders.

She looked deep in thought taking the curry into a bowl and setting the table.

"Do we need to go? These parties mean dressing up and honestly today I am in the mood of wearing a comfy nighty and reading a book!" She whined pouting sitting down on a chair. Her description of clothing did give me ideas but I pushed them aside focusing on the matter at hand.

"Well I would love it if you are wearing nothing and reading a book but we do have to go. They specifically invited you and me" I said and she widened her big eyes at my words looking around to make sure no one heard me.

It amuses me of how shy she can be at times and how bold she can get.

"Shut up Advaith! Have some shame! What if someone walks in and listens to you?" She said glaring at me which made me chuckle.

"What?! You are my wife I can talk to you in any way I want and what I said was correct. You can wear nothing and read a book and I can read you" I said smirking at her to which she face palmed making me laugh.

"You are incorrigible! Fine leave it. Since you are saying it is very very important I am agreeing but in compensation, I need a chocolate lava cake with chocolate ice cream and extra choco chips from my favorite ice cream parlor at the latest!" She demanded and I shook my head amused.

Sometimes I feel jealous of the way she speaks about her food.

"Fine anything you want baby girl" I say and she beams at me.

"Great! Since this huge-ass decision has been made go call everyone for lunch. It might get cold"

"You are the only person who I know so far is bummed out about going to a gala and dressing up. You know that right? Even Deeva is so enthusiastic about those damn parties" I told her and she narrowed her eyes.

"I suppose we have already established the fact that I am far from those normal people. And who would want to wear a heavy-ass dress and heels and makeup and converse with all those fake idiots out there! I would much rather read a book and have chicken and chocolate in my room under my warm blanket" she said tipping her chin up and I grabbed her chin pecking her lips.

"Don't worry baby girl! Just today night then you can do all that under a warm me" I said walking out of the kitchen and it took her a few seconds to realize what I said before she shouted.

"Advaith!" And I laughed as I went on to call our family.
