Siya looked at me weirdly as I huffed and puffed not sitting straight and just fussing around.
Ritu also looked at me in a wary manner due to my disturbed mood. Well what can I say? I am being very disturbed and fidgety and stupid sitting here in my workplace thinking of the scene which happened yesterday night.
"Madira do you maybe want to discuss this later? You can take a day off if you want to" Siya Mam said and I was thankful though I didn't want to go home.
"Thanks for the offer. I would like to discuss this later. I will go work on the designs in my cabin and please dont disturb me till lunch time" saying that politely I excused myself and ran to my cabin.
I laid down on my couch and started thinking where it all went wrong.
I mean I realise I have been incredibly, stupidly stubborn demanding him to know despite knowing he got angry but I haven't asked for any unreasonable thing. Ma told me about his best friend and I just wanted to know about my husband's best friend. I mean I don't know if his best friend is related to his past or not and I genuinely just wanted to know about Karan.
Maybe I pushed him too far but he shouldn't have shouted. I don't take well to shoutings especially when the other person also has some fault on their side.
It has been silent in between us after that. Yesterday night was the first time in many days or weeks we have slept so apart. We haven't uttered a word to each other. I can feel his gaze but I couldn't get myself to speak.
Even today morning at the breakfast we haven't spoken much and I am pretty sure our family noticed the tension. We wordlessly left to our respective workplaces and here I am so bothered by the fact we didn't talk to each other.
My thoughts were interrupted by the knock on my door. I faintly said a come in and in came Ayesh.
"Ayesh! What are you doing here?" I asked surprised as to what she is doing here during working hours.
"Ritu called me saying you are acting super weird and that she is scared of your irritated self and so I came to check up on you. Even Deeva told me you looked down today morning" she said making her way over to me and I just got up hugging her tight to me.
I don't know when tears sprang to my eyes but they did and I pushed them aside not wanting to cry at the moment.
"What happened Madi? Did something happened? Did someone say something? Did you and Advaith bhai fight?" Ayesh asked me softly rubbing my back. I just shook my head and pulled back.
We both settled down on the couch and I told her everything that happened except for the details Ma told me about his childhood and all. I just provided her basic details.
