"Hi chat!" I beam into the camera, my expression bright and cheery, "Welcome to the stream! How are you all doing?"
The chatbox quickly fills with comments, most of confusion, others of excitement.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Are we really about to get some DreamSMP content?!
"Thank you for the first donation of the stream, SnakesOnDrugs! And yes, the title is real. I have been invited to the infamous Dream SMP."
The chat suddenly speeds up, the same exclamation being repeated by multiple people.

I give a light laugh, "the stream has only just started guys! No need to panic. I have the flower crown right here."
Reaching up to one of my monitors I pluck the plastic wreath of yellow flowers from its perch and bring it into view of the camera. "See? It's still here. You know I'd never forget the flower crown."
Tucking away my hair I lower the flowery crown onto my head, adjusting it so it sits just right. Lots of "POGCHAMP!"'s and "o7"'s fill the chat seconds apart from each other.
"For those of you who are new to the stream," I begin to explain as I log into Minecraft, "this crown actually came from my dear friend Niki—though some of you might know her as Nihachu. She's a super cute streamer that you should all go and check out if you haven't already, and I wear this crown basically every stream. Even my Minecraft skin wears one. It's very cute."
Bringing up the list of Minecraft servers on screen, I switch over from facecam and share my screen for all my viewers to see, then moments later bring back my facecam and shrink it into a corner of the screen.
"Tada! Is it just me or is it super weird seeing the Dream SMP on my server list? If Eret or Niki is on we could ask one of them for a tour."
I catch a few "u know Eret?"'s speed through chat.
"Who doesn't know Eret?" I muse, "the man is a bi icon. And he was also one of the first streamers I ever watched on Twitch. Back when I was still learning about my sexuality-" I lean in close to the mic for a second, "-I'm bisexual by the way-" I lean back again, "Eret made me feel super comfortable about who I was. I sent him a dono telling him he was awesome, he recognised me from my youtube channel and bam! We started talking."
I place a hand to my cheek, practically glowing with admiration, "he is so sweet, by the way. And he also pulls off heels better than any woman I've ever met. I have to say I'm a little jealous. Oh!-" I blink, interrupted by a notification on discord. "I think Dream just messaged me!"
