"Ow! Ow! Where am I?!" A young man shouted sitting up with blurred vision. He rubbed his eyes for a few seconds and heard people talking, but it was muffled by whatever affects he was under.

"Doctor!" A girl shouted. The young man payed it no mind, unknowing that he was who she was referring to. "Doctor?" She asked again, the man's vision returning to him. He looked at the medic beside him and whispered:

"Is she talking to me?" He said nervously, raising his brow in confusion.

"..." Those in the room stared in confusion as to why he didn't respond to how he was usually addressed in their memory. "Wait a sec? Who are you guys?" He asked looking at the medic, the woman who called his name, and the guard by the door to wherever he was.

"Doctor... it's me... It's me, Amiya. We've come to rescue you." A girl with brown hair and rabbit ears [don't get into it]. "...Another question. Who am I?" The man asked before placing a hand on his chin. "I've gotta be successful— I mean, I have a Doctorate!" The man said with a smile.

"You..." Amiya seemed to be at a lost for words, but didn't let what was bothering her stop the man's request. "You're a member of Rhodes Island, just like us... as well as my partner." Amiya said solemnly. "Like... marriage...?" The man asked with a small shade of pink on cheeks. "N-No, Doctor...! But, you are the most important person to me. Doctor, you really don't remember?" Amiya asked. "Not even my birthday." The man said shaking his head. "Damnit— that means no presents..." The man said silently weeping his sorrows away with a balled fist.

"E-Either way, it's nice to meet you! Or, I guess, meet you again." The man said extending his hand with a smile. "You really don't remember me at all?" Amiya asked weakly shaking his hand. "I'm sorry..." The man said feeling guilty, still out of the loop.

"Even if that's the case... I won't give up. We've already sacrificed so much, just to find you... However, you'll always be the most important person to me, Doctor. No matter what happens, this will never change. So that's why, please... give me a little more time. However little it might be..." Amiya said with determination and passion, picking up his other hand as well.

"Are you sure we weren't married or something?" The man asked with a nervous smile, a little flustered by her passion to help him.

"Does the Doctor... really have amnesia?" The medic who stood beside them asked. Amiya was silent, still saddened by this fact. "I'm sure everything will be fine if we give Doctor some space..." Amiya replied with a frown.

"Say, uh, where are we? This place looks... stealthy to say the least." Doctor said rubbing his chin as he observed the room.

"It's safe here—" Amiya began, but the building, or room, rumbled violently. "Huh? What's happening—?!" Amiya asked. The heavily armed guard by the door peaked outside for a few seconds, and immediately slammed the door shut not a second afterward. "Amiya, we've got a problem! Someone broke into the facility!" He reported, but the door was kicked open during his debriefing. A man in a white robe and hood, armed just as much as the guard with machete at his side, and a mask on his face entered the room in silence.

"The way they're dressed... they don't look like Ursus soldiers." The guard acknowledged. "What's the meaning of this?!" The guard shouted, but the robed figure only unsheathed his machete, and pulled out a pistol. He fired a bullet at the Doctor, who watched as the bullet whizzed passed his cheek, not close enough to graze him.

"They're attacking! Amiya, they're heavily armed!" The guard said as Doctor finally took in the weight of the new situation. The robed figure fired again for a second attempt, but Doctor rolled back over the hospital bed he lied in and ducked behind it on instinct. "Be careful, everyone! Take cover, and protect the Doctor!" Amiya shouted ducking behind the second bed in the room.
