Adora's POV

We were sleeping in the woods. Why? We were heading back to Brightmoon so we spent the night on the cold hard floor, not like i was complaining, i'm used to it.
But the nightmare wasn't helping much. I groaned, tossing and turning in my sleep, and i could've sworn i heard Shadow Weaver's voice calling out to me. I wake up with a gasp, sitting straight up, trying to scan my area, that voice seemed too real to be in that dream, she had to be around here, somewhere.
Looking out to the dark spaces of the Whispering woods, i decided i should actually get up and go check, so i did. Glimmer and Bow weren't awake yet since it was before sunrise, speaking of, i wanted to tell Glimmer about the issue with my feelings i was having but i wasn't sure how. Maybe if i thought about that instead for a while maybe the whole 'Shadow Weaver' thing would just be my imagination, but what if it wasn't? I groaned,
" Maybe later, right now i gotta figure out if Shadow Weaver's on my tracks somehow." I mumble to myself leaning on the tree there.

Bow's POV

The sun was up, meaning time to wake up. I got up and started to stretch to greet the new day. Glimmer slept beside me with her cape over her head and body like a blanket. After my big yawn i made it my little mission to wake her up.
" Good morning, Glimmer." I said.
She stirred and groaned, " It's too early. Five more minutes." While covering her whole head with the cape.
" But it's a beautiful morning." I smile looking into the woods.
" Today's canceled." She groaned again. " go back to bed." She waved her hand at me. I decided to look at her a little longer until she made one more groan and pulled her cape off of her head, " I can feel you staring at me." Finally lifting herself to he palms she starts again, " Why is it the one who snores is always the first one to fall asleep?"
" What? I don't snore." I defend myself. " Adora, do i snore--?" I decide to ask Adora but find out that, she's not even there. I look around her spot to see she's just staring out into the woods with her hand on one of the trees, like if she saw something. Glimmer groaned and teleported us closer, but we bumped into Adora snapping her out of her concentration. She gasped as Glimmer apologizes.
" Sorry. Too early to teleport." Glimmer says. But Adora shrugs it off and steps away from us looking even closer at the spot she seems so fixed on in the first place. I followed her gaze and decided to ask, " What are we looking at?"
" I don't know. I heard a noise in the woods last night. A-and I thought i saw something." She explains. Glimmer came infront of me.
" What? Like a bunny? Maybe a butterfly?" She used little hand gestures to emphasize her words. Adora just turned back and looked into the woods again. The silence was strange.
" Adora, " Glimmer raised her hand to Adora's shoulder startling her. " did you get any sleep at all?"
" Someone has to stand guard." Adora tried to make an excuse walking off.
" Okay. I know you're on edge because of what happened with Entrapta's infected robots but that's all over now!" Glimmer tried to reason, i just followed along. " You've got to relax. You need a vacation. Which is why we're going to Mystacor." Glimmer waved slightly.
" Mystacor? No way." I gasped, eyes wide, putting my hands to my head.
" Wait, What's Mystacor?" Adora asked.

Adora's POV

" It's a secret, floating kingdom that's home to all of Etheria's sorcerers. It's got tranquil gardens, beautiful beaches, and healing springs. And, my aunt Cataspella just happens to be head sorceress there. " Glimmer explained excitedly.
" You'll love it, Adora." Bow chimed in, " Plus, you wouldn't have to worry about evil things in the woods. Mystacor is protected by an invisibility spell, so evil can't find it!"
" It's the safest and most peaceful place in all of Etheria. We'll have you relaxing in no time." Glimmer led me away a little while Bow grabbed his arrows. I scoffed a little putting my hands on my hips,
" You know, i've never relaxed in my life. It might--" Bow cut me off, " We're about to change that. Just wait." He wrapped his arm over my shoulders and we started walking off in, what i could only assume was Mystacor's direction.
