[Adora's POV]
"Uggggh remind me why we're here again." Silver groaned following behind as we walked through the Crimson Waste. She sounded awfully a lot like Mermista at that point.
"We have to bring back Mara's ship to Bright Moon. Then we'd be out of here before we know it." Bow said.
"I feel bad Glimmer had to stay behind." The magicat said after a pause and we sighed, "Yeah, I think she might get angry if we have another adventure without her." I said looking forward."So, this is, like, your kingdom?" Perfuma asked Huntara.
"I'm not a princess." Huntara stated simply as she walked ahead of the group.
"Still, it must be nice to be home. Do you miss it?" Perfuma pushed on.
"I left. Now I'm back. No need to make a big thing out of it." Huntara turned away.
Was it just me or was Perfuma busy staring at Huntara. I chuckled."You, um, make flowers?" Huntara broke the awkwardness.
"I control all plants. Watch. Perfuma proceeded to try to move the cactus but it refused to grow.It eventually doubled in size, "It's just something I'm blessed to be able to--" It exploded onto her. Green goo covering her body.
"Uh-huh. Blessed." Huntara mused and walked off.
"If we run into trouble, is flower girl gonna be able to handle herself?" Huntara asked me.
"Oh, Perfuma? Oh, yeah, she's a demon in battle." I raised a fist. "Plus, I got this." I raised my arm to show off the bracelet I made the sword into.
"A bracelet?"
"No." I took off the bracelet and it shone a bright light before shifting back into my sword. "This is how I'll carry my sword from now on." I put it back on my arm, "It's pretty great, right?" I ran ahead with Silver following suit."I know you trained with the Horde too, but I think all this time with the princesses has made you soft." I gasped at Huntara's remark.
I groaned and walked back to her.
"Adora? Oh, damn, that face is cute." Silver said coming up beside me."Soft?" I scoffed and chuckled, "Are you serious? I'm as tough as ever. I bet I can beat you to the ship." Huntara snorted, "Never gonna happen."
We glared at each other for a few seconds before bolting. Leaving Bow, Silver and Perfuma in the dust. Sorry Silver.
"Adora you okay?" Silver came up to me as I put my hands on my knees and gasped for air.
"I can't-- I can't believe the Horde took the ship. Also, I could've run more." I gasped and gasped.
"Or it could've been any number or Crimson Waste scavengers, and I could have run more." Huntara folded her arms and smirked.
"Adora you're gonna sweat out here now that you've raised your body heat like this." Silver folded her arms and I smirked, "Oh, look how worried you are about me." I teased and she blushed turning away.
A device beeped and Huntara drew her staff, I caught my bearings and stood in a fight stance.
"Wha--Yeah, I'm ready." I blurt out."Sorry. It's my pad." Bow apologized and we stood down.
"I souped it up so Glimmer can check in." Bow explained."How's the mission? Got the ship yet?" Glimmer asked.
"No. Hang up. Bow. Turn it off." I whisper shouted to him.
"Well, there's a small problem--""No. Bow. Stop it." I tried again.
"What's Adora doing?" Glimmer asked and Silver giggled.
"Dancing. Because, uh, the mission is going just so great." I frowned at the boy.
"But we, um, have to go do more mission stuff now. Talk later, bye."
"Wait, don't..." Bow cut her off and let out a big sigh.
"There's no reason to worry her. We'll find the ship." I said.
