[Catra's POV]

I lost so much. It's hard.

Hordak practically sent me out here to die. But I'm not going to. I'm gonna prove him wrong, he'll regret doubting what I'm capable of.

"Catra. Hey, Catra." Scorpia's voice echoed and broke my train of thought, "Catra. Boy, you are just as fast on sand as everywhere else. Whoo, ha! Now, what are we looking at?" Scorpia panted catching her breath. I kept my facial expression blank. We were in a desert there's nothing to look at.

Some dust and a tumbleweed blew past. Yep. We are goners.

"I'm looking at the Crimson Waste. The place Hordak sent me to die. I have no idea what you're doing as the last thing I told you was to leave me alone."  I stressed my gaze staying pretty blank. Scorpia cooed, "I know. It was so noble of you. You pushed me away in order to save me and it just brought us closer together." She chuckled embracing me.

Uggh, actually that was the last thing I wanted.

"I'm not--" I groaned cutting myself off, "You know what? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter anymore." I pushed her pincer away and let my hands fall back under my cloak, walking away. "You know what I see here? All my hard work ignored because of one mistake." I opened my arms and turned around holding my fingers to my temples as I emphasized my stress before continuing. "My dreams turning to dust in front of my eyes."  Something caught my eye however.

I turned Scorpia around, "But mainly, I'm looking at...that?" Dust blew once more as it revealed a building but it was made out of the bones of a creature. Flags and curtains blowing in the mild wind.

"Huh. Must be abandoned. According to Force Captain orientation, the Crimson Waste is completely deserted." Scorpia said as we walked to the entrance.

"Yeah. It better be. I'm not in the mood to deal with--" I said as I pulled the curtain blocking our way. Looking inside I scowled, "People." I shut my eyes and grit my teeth together clearly frustrated.

"Or that information could be completely wrong. Man, maybe I should've skipped orientation, ha, ha, you know what I mean?" Scorpia elbowed me softly and I erupted in a loooong drawn out groan pressing my hands to my face.

When I finished my frustrated groaning, we finally stepped inside.
"Of course Hordak is wrong." Someone spits as I stop by the tables. "He's a shut-in who lives in his lab and doesn't know how to do anything. Why am I surprised at this?" I facepalmed. Glancing at the person sitting on the stool next to me, I grabbed them by the shirt and they let out a shriek in surprise, "Move it. I'm tired." The creature squeals again mainly angry at me. I bent over and came close to his face, letting out a menacing hiss. They bolted and I casually took my seat.

Someone was staring at me and I turned my head growling deeply at them, my fur on end. Scorpia blocked my view. "Hey, Catra, I'm not questioning your leadership here, but maybe we shouldn't pick on the heavily armed crowd?"

"Oh, yeah? And what are they gonna do? Send me to die in the Crimson Waste?" I gasped sarcastically, "Would you look at that, I'm already here."

I spotted something in my peripheral, a shot sized metal cup was on shelf, behind the bartender.
"Hey you! Let me take a look at that." I ordered and surprisingly she scurried to hand it to me. Whoever made her jumpy? I scanned the outer surface of the metal cup.

There were claw marks penetrating into it, not sure why they'd keep it around though. Especially if the liquid would seep right through. I unsheathed my own claws and they fit perfectly within the ready made place holders. A feline was clearly pissed off to make these and seemingly showed this Bartender who was boss in the process.
