[Adora's POV]

The guards caught us. I had a plan, sneak into Glimmer's room without getting noticed, well, on my second attempt I fell....again. I know Silver said it was a bad idea without Bow. She was right. He always had his arrows to help us up.

So now, our hands were bound and we were being escorted to the throne room. Silver looked completely pissed and I couldn't blame her.

I saw something pink and sparkly to my right and I gasped, "Glimmer." I called out hoping she'd recognize me somehow.

'bring in the Prisoners." I heard Queen Angella say. I felt a tiny spark of hope that maybe, just maybe she'll recognize me.

[Silver's POV]

I had a feeling this was going to go downhill pretty fast.

"King Micah? You're here? Oh, you look different than your mural." Adora said and I narrowed my eyes as well, honestly I see the similarities. He got the beard.

We were forced to kneel by one of the guards. Adora deadpanned at her and I tried to keep my face straight and my head down. I heard the King perform a spell and push it at us. We shouted just in case it blew up. But it just tickled, I giggled a little.

"This is a truth spell. You will be compelled to answer honestly." The King explained while Adora looked herself over.

"Now tell us, who are you, and why did you break into Bright Moon?" He finished. I sighed simultaneously with Adora.
"Okay. Wow, this is gonna be a lot to explain. Um, ahem..." Adora organized her thoughts.
"And it's gonna sound a little weird, but I swear, it's all true." She sighed again.

"I dropped my head, "It's a truth spell Adora, so obviously it's gonna be true." I cover my mouth instantly. I didn't expect to say that. Damn, that was rude. I chuckled nervously looking around.

"Anyway." Adora paused for a second.

"Reality is collapsing in on itself because of the portal that Hordak and Catra set off. They're from the Horde, except you don't remember the Horde, because the Fright Zone disappeared, like, just now. It was pretty crazy. It got erased by the portal. But I promise it used to exist, and we were fighting them with the Princess Alliance. And I had a sword that could turn me into an 8-foot-tall warrior lady with really great hair named She-ra, but the Horde used the Sword to set off the portal, and I need Glimmer and Bow to help stop it and save Etheria." Adora finally took a breath and slumped over panting.

"Woah, damn. I love this idiot. Even I wouldn't think that was fake because WOWEE that's a lot of info to take in. But yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I'm just here because she loves me." I shrug and wore a silly smile. Why is this spell making me loopy?

"I....uh...." King Micah was at a lost for words.

"Who are you? How do you know my daughter and the royal apprentice Historian?"

"Dang even scarier here I must admit, no offence." I muttered.

"He's a historian here?" Adora asked in disbelief. "Wha--that doesn't matter. We're best friends."

"I've never seen you before." Micah stated simply.
Well, that's because normally you're dead."

"Seriously, how do I still love you, you idiot?" I asked in general.

Angella gasped and a sword was suddenly in front of Adora's nose. "Are you threatening the king?" The guard asked.

"How dare you say such a thing?" Angella stepped forward. Adora brought up her hands to push the sword away.
"I'm sorry, but none of this is right. You must have noticed it. Wha--wha--what did you do yesterday? There's a reason you can't remember. This world is not real." Micah's eyes widened but Angella pinched the bridge of her nose.
"I have heard quite enough." The queen turned to walk off but Micah stopped her, "Angella, it's all right."
