[Adora's POV]

We just finished getting the fuel for the ship, since we apparently ran out. Silver was sitting close to the window, one leg propped up under her elbow, and the tip of her tail flicking idly. I rubbed my arm and walked over.

"Nice view, huh?" I made small talk, she's been distant since Catra's message. It hurts to see her like this. I noticed her ear twitch in my direction and a small smile graced her lips.

"Yeah, it's amazing." Her expression fell once more and my eyebrows pinched. I looked away trying to think of something else to say. My mind told me to get the attention off of herself, so, that I did. I let my own problems flow in my mind.

"Silver. You think She-ra's back?" I asked not meeting her gaze. She turned to face me with wide eyes.

"Yeah, I guess so. You know I don't love you because of She-ra, right?" Silver asked and I looked to her.

"But you like her, don't you?"

"Adora, you are She-ra. You're stubborn, brave, irrational, determined as fuck, but you're a fighter. You have everything She-ra had. To me, there is no difference." Silver took my hand and rubbed circles on the back of it.
"But without her I'm not important. It was nice to know I had a destiny, you know?" Silver nodded.

"I understand. Like, I'm just the insignificant one on all your missions, I don't really help much. I just need attention and I really am turning into a softy the more I stay at Bright Moon. Huntara was right. I've gone soft." She pulled away and brought up her other leg to curl into herself.
"What? No." I gasped and put a hand to her shoulder, feeling her fur raise slightly from my cold touch.
"Of course you're important."
"Oh, yeah? Name one instance my absence changed anything." She grumbled and I heard. I hesitated.
"That's what I thought..." Silver said and shrugged my hand off. I sighed.

"I'm thinking about this all wrong." I mumble to myself. I was thinking about past missions, but that didn't make it any better.

"You helped us get the crystals." I stated and folded my arms.

"Only because Glimmer and I got stuck on the other side we were able to work together to get the crystals. We barely made it out of there."

"Yeah. Imagine if you weren't there." I looked away, "Glimmer and Bow mightn't have made it out, even with the Star siblings' help." Silver sighed and looked out the window again.

"You remember when I said that I saw a light?" I started. Silver giggled, "And bow was like, 'DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT!' Hahhaha!!" She laughed.

"It's not that kind of light." I groaned repeating the scene. Silver laughed even more and I smiled.

"There's that smile. My 'beacon of hope'." I repeated what Glimmer had told us earlier. Silver smiled softly at me.

"You have your own purpose, just like the rest of us. And it's not insignificant." I held her shoulders and hugged her. A purr vibrated through her body. There was a beep that came from Darla.

"We are entering Horde Prime's atmosphere." She said and I parted the hug.

"Time to put that plan to action. You ready?" I asked and she gave a single nod. I kissed her on the lips and gave her hair a ruffle.

"Now go find Glimmer and the others. Take your stations etc. I'll be fine." She gave me one last kiss before she ran off to do as I said.

[Silver's POV]

She better be okay without me to protect her.

Stupid instincts.

"Guys, put this on and hold on the the handles out there, tightly. We don't want anyone floating away." Entrapta gave us our space suits and I cooed at the ears in my helmet, just like Bow did.
