'W-well maybe we should talk later, I mean seriously do we need to go down that road tonight, I'm tired'  

'No I guess not. We'll talk tomorrow morning but for now go get some sleep' Riley said. I nodded and walked off to bed.  

Once in bed I couldn't sleep. I pulled out my phone three new messages. I opened the first.

From: Joel  

To: Louisa

Message: 

Hey baby, I had a great time earlier, can you come over again tomorrow? ;) xoxo

To: Joel

Message: 

Sorry Joel, I have a date tomorrow, I can't. Maybe next time. 

I felt disgusted with myself as I sent it. I clicked on the next message.

From: Unknown Number  

To: Louisa

Message: 

Hey Louisa, hope you don't mind, I asked Lorelei for your number, I was wondering if you'd like to go to dinner with me on Sunday night? No pressure, Christian x

Aww he was cute. I had lied to Joel about having a date but I didn't want to go back there, not now, not ever. I clicked reply.

From: Louisa 

To: Unknown Number

Message:  

I'd love to! I can't wait! Thanks for the invite!xx

I clicked on the last message. My heart throbbed as I read the sender name.

From: Darren  

To: Louisa

Message: 

I'm really sorry about the other night. I got jealous, I know, I know, I have no right to be, I just couldn't help it, I'm sorry, I just wanted to see you, Love Always, Darren xxxxxx

I clicked reply.

From: Louisa 

To: Darren

Message: 

We need to talk. Abby's cafe. 11am.

I got an immediate reply of "I'll be there". I clicked my phone off and snuggled down to bed. Slumber took over and soon I was dreaming.

*DREAM*  

'Yes' I smiled. 'I'll marry you' He lifted me up spinning me around.  

'You have made me the happiest guy in the world. I love you Louisa O'Briens'  

'I love you too, Joel'

'Nooo!!' I woke sweating, and screaming, trying to catch my breath. I gasped for air. Riley burst into the room with a baseball bat. 'What happened?' He calmed down when he saw that there was no intruder. 'Shit Louisa you scared me half to death'  

'I-I'm sorry I just had a nightmare, I didn't mean to, I'm sorry' He noticed the tears escalating down my cheeks. 'Hey, hey, hey, calm down it was just a nightmare' He walked over and sat on my bed, wrapping his arms around me. 'Shh its okay' Slowly everything darkened.
