~I want you, like I want him, it's different but somehow the same.~

A S H T O N

I was sitting by the pool, stoned off my ass with a non-alcoholic cocktail in my hand, watching Puzzle splash around in the pool. Blake was sitting beside me, lounged out on a lounge chair with his sunglasses on, a pair of swim trunks somehow making him look even sexier. I wasn't the only person looking, I could see quite a few women also looking and I wasn't sure if I felt jealous or not.

I knew Blake wasn't looking at them, mainly because I could hear him snoring quietly. I wondered briefly if I should wake him up, but he was under an umbrella and he had sunscreen on so I wasn't too worried about him getting sunburnt or heatstroke. I also knew that Blake wouldn't really look at them regardless.

"Ash come in!" Puzzle called and I smiled and nodded, taking off the hoodie I was wearing and sitting down on the edge of the pool, slipping my legs in. Puzzle swam over and stood up in the pool, putting his hands on either side of me and pressed a quick kiss to my lips. "You look really sexy in that bathing suit." Puzzle teased, and I blushed brightly, fluttering my lashes and looking away shyly.

"I feel kind of ridiculous. Everyone can tell." I said, and he shook his head.

"You absolutely cannot tell. Especially from a distance." Puzzle said, and smirked a little. "But, if you feel uncomfortable, I'm not against piggybacking you around the water." He offered, and I glanced at the water anxiously.

"You'll hold me?" I asked cautiously.

"The whole time." Puzzle said. I nodded, and put my hands on his shoulders, letting him pull me down into the water. He smiled and moved me around to where I was on his back, my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.

I floated around in the pool holding onto him closely, nervous about the water. I wasn't usually afraid of water, I don't really know where that one came from. I sighed deeply and rested my chin on his shoulder. Despite my crawling anxiety, the water felt amazing on my skin and I was relaxing some. Puzzle kept his word and didn't let go of me.

Puzzle was just swimming around the deep end of the pool, somewhere I would've never gone on my own, because I wasn't even as tall as the deepest end of the water, and my swimming skills are okay at best.

Some kids came over and were playing with Puzzle, and I couldn't help but smile, even as I was getting splashed in the face. Puzzle was like a child himself, and it was cute and endearing on him. I couldn't help but picture him as a father, and I had no doubt that he'd make an excellent one. He would be amazing because he grew up with two not great parents.

I wasn't sure how long the splash fight lasted, but I ended up sitting on the edge of the pool watching the two because I wanted to let Puzzle have his fun. I enjoyed watching him have fun, and be carefree. Something about seeing him like that was... attractive.

I glanced up and saw Blake looking at his phone, and I stood up and walked around the pool, back over to him and sat down. "Hey," I said, and he smiled and pulled his sunglasses down to look over me.

"I have pretty good taste in women's clothing for a man." Blake said, smirking a little. I giggled and blushed, beginning to feel more confident in how I looked. I was so nervous at first, but Blake and Puzzle had somehow completely erased my self-consciousness. "I do have to go, though." Blake said, looking at his phone with a frown.

"Why?" I asked, pouting a little.

"Because someone came forward with information on the break-in and I want to see the interview. Do you want to go or stay here?" He asked.
