At the hospital, Rose and Steve meet up with Natasha, the three in the most basic undercover outfits. Upon seeing Natasha, Steve got agitated, pulling her into a room, assuming she had the flash drive.
"Where is it?" he asks, pushing the redhead against the wall.
"Ask Blondie, cap," mocks Natasha as she blows bubbles with her gum, "Why do you guys have it anyway?"
"Children, if we could all relax," says Rose, trying to diffuse the situation, "We need to get focused and get a plan because it's us three against everyone right now."
Steve huffs, before throwing one last glare at Natasha and letting her go. He looks between the ladies, hoping one of them has a plan."I know you killed Fury," pipes up Natasha, much to Rose's dismay. Though they had built their trust over the years, Rose worried Natasha's loyalty to herself would cause a rip, as it seemed to be.
"Nat, you promised," says an exasperated Rose. Her response to the situation left Steve extremely perplexed, confused about the knowledge of the assassin in question.
"Relax Rose," calms Natasha, "Most of the intelligence community believes he doesn't exist, the ones that do call him the Winter Soldier. He's credited with over two dozen assassinations in the last fifty years."
"And how does Rose know him?" asks Steve, now turning his attention towards her. Rose's anxiety kicked in, and she tried to come up with the best answer that included as much truth as possible."Well, the Winter Soldier Program was supposed to be mine, should I had remained captured. My abilities were given to me with the intention I would lead the soldiers for Hydra, and become the most feared out of them," starts Rose, "But, the program was thought to be abandoned after the capture of Zola and Reinhart, and with my rescue."
"That doesn't explain why you froze on the roof, did you know the assassin?" questioned Steve further."I used to," replies Rose sadly, "But I'm not sure if the man I knew is still in there."
Natasha pulled Rose into a hug, trying to comfort her as best as possible. Rose had confided in her that she thought the soldier was Bucky after he had been captured with her after the train incident in the Alps all those decades before. But there was never any evidence to prove her idea one way or the other, so she just accepted the situation. Now, she was presented with the possibility it was him."Look, regardless of who he is, going after him is a dead end," Natasha covers, "We've tried."

The trio of fugitives found themselves at the mall in the city, heading to an Apple store to get data off the flash drive. Rose walked around the store, keeping an eye out for any SHIELD agents while Natasha cracked the drive, and Steve stayed put. Rose estimated they had ten minutes before SHIELD found them, so the timing was everything.
How's it going Nat, asked Rose, still keeping watch outside the store.
The drive keeps writing over my commands, it's like an AI that's slightly smarter than me, respond Natasha.
Can you just try to get a location, we don't have time, responds Rose, SHIELD just showed up, they're a floor above us though.
You are a genius, we're going to Jersey, says Natasha, grabbing Rose while they rush from the store.
"Standard tact teams, two on every side of us, and groups sweeping every floor," says Rose, looking at their surroundings.
"If they engage, you two make a break for the elevator and I'll deal with them," says Steve as he eyes up the team in front of them. The girls share a look before throwing their arms around Steve and laughing at him. The physical contact and affection cause the agents to look away in discomfort, buying them more time to reach the escalator. Brief movements won't work for the ride down because Rumlow was on his way up.
