The moment I reach the parking lot, I take a hold of my father's wrist and stop him from getting into his car.
"How do you know about my boyfriend? I've literally only started dating him almost two weeks ago!"
He chuckles and shakes his head as he turns to face me. "Did you really think I wouldn't know where you were and who you were with? I know about your little persona called Kang Ava, I know about Kim Namjoon being an absolute jealous asshole towards you. I know about Mr. Jeon Jungkook taking a serious interest in you and I know that you've become friends with Kim Seokjin."
My jaw drops as I stare at him with wide eyes.
"You're welcome for wanting to save your boyfriend's ass by the way."
The fact that it's not possible to let my jaw drop any further, makes this quite a sad situation.
Obviously I let my jaw drop too early.
"So, you were fully aware of my whereabouts, my actions and my relations? You figured out Jimin and Jungkook are facing bankrupcty and you just randomly offer to help them without even knowing who they are?"
He simply tilts his head a little as he keeps his eyes focused on my face, wanting to see my reaction.
"Wait!" I shake my head, suddenly worried. "You're not letting them travel all the way to Seoul from Busan only to play with their heads right? You're not giving them false hope.. right?"
He shakes his head after a couple seconds and I let out a breath of relief. "So, what are your intentions with Call Center Park?" He chuckles and a big smile appears on his face. "Are you asking me what I'm supposed to be asking Mr. Jeon? Because I want to know what his intentions are with my daughter."
I face palm myself as I realize Jungkook has no idea that I'm the daughter of the CEO of Hope Entertainment. I had forgotten about that already, as my father knowing about Namjoon and Jungkook had shocked me enough already. "Dad, he doesn't know who I really am. I introduced myself as Kang Ava because I was with Seokjin and Namjoon."
My father seems to realize that he can't exactly play the protective father role, but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.
"Well, time the tell the truth sweetheart. Hiding who you really are isn't smart, especially when starting a relationship. This man doesn't know who he's dating, because his girlfriend doesn't exist!"
I sigh and nod. He's right and I know it. But I'm scared of Jungkook's reaction. I know I've only been his girlfriend for two weeks.. but I did lie about my true identity.
"Is there a chance that you'd want to help me? Can I work with our employees starting on Monday so that I can avoid running into Jungkook at the company? I want to tell him and I will tell him, but I'd rather not let our personal business mess up whatever deal you want to close with them. They really need it and I don't want them pulling back or declining simply because of me. I've made a mistake, but it doesn't mean Jungkook and Jimin should suffer because of it."
