It's been a month since Jungkook and I broke up.
At first, I continued to stay with him, but it became a little awkward after a couple of days, so I ended up getting a hotel room again. Just like I had when I first came to Busan.
I wish I could've just left, gone back home to Seoul, and be able to avoid him. But I have responsibilities and I need to stay professional.
The renovations for the JP building are complete and it looks absolutely amazing. Over the last two weeks, I had to overlook every floor while Jimin and Jungkook held interviews. You can't open a company without staff. They were able to find two choreographers, four managers, one artist director, they found staff for the cafeteria, two receptionists for the desk in the lobby, and even were able to hire a cleaning crew to keep the building clean. My father was able to find them a few producers that were already living in Busan or willing to move.
Basically, they found everyone they could possibly need.
Hoseok offered to be a backup choreographer. At first, the offer confused both men a little, but after Hoseok explained they could call him if they ever needed him to replace one of the two they hired or if they needed a third one, he could come down to Busan and help them out.
My father knows nothing about this offer, as our parents still don't have the slightest clue he's back in Korea.
As everything is wrapped up nicely and we still had two days before the official opening would take place, I had decided to take Jimin and Jungkook out for a nice meal so I could finally give them the surprise my father had been preparing for them.
So right now, we're sitting in Jimin's favorite restaurant sipping on our wine while waiting for our food. We've been talking about how well everything went and we're reminiscing about a few almost blooper-like moments we experienced while we were converting Call Center Park to JP Entertainment.
"Remember how you were stuck in the elevator for almost two hours because you hadn't even noticed our e-mails and texts about how the elevators wouldn't be working that day and you didn't even see the piece of paper stuck on the wall next to the buttons with the same information!?" Jimin asks me as I cringe at the thought. Jungkook was having a hard time keeping himself from bursting with laughter, but a few snorts did escape him.
"I hated it so much! I was stuck for two whole hours and I know you both could've sped up the process of getting me out of there if you weren't so busy ridiculing me for getting stuck."
"It was just too funny. We needed at least an hour to get our shit together and of course, we had to tell Hoseok and your father. It was hilarious, both of them had trouble catching their breaths."
