As Jimin and Jungkook had arrived in the big room where Hope Entertainment hosted the Masquerade Ball, Ava still had to arrive.
All attendees were requested to be there at 7.30pm, while Ava was requested to arrive at 8pm sharp.
Ava, of course, was the guest of honor.
While Jimin and Jungkook kept to themselves while walking through the big room, politely bowing and greeting people while still not being able to recognize anyone. Jimin suddenly bumped into a tall figure who quickly turned around to see who had bumped into him so suddenly. Both Busan men quickly bowed and apologized, ready to look for a table where they could sit and watch the festivities from a distance. But the voice of the man Jimin had bumped into quickly stopped them from setting a single step toward another direction.
"Mr. Park? Mr. Jeon? Is that you?"
Looking back at the still unknown man, both Jimin and Jungkook nodded in complete silence while waiting for this mystery man to reveal his identity.
"Ah boys, it's good to see you! I'm glad you made it, how are you liking my sweethearts masquerade ball so far?"
This statement made Jungkook's jaw drop. Of course, they had to run into non-other than Jung Dae-Song barely ten minutes after arriving. Jungkook had no idea what he thought of their break-up over two years ago, all he knew was that Dae-Song had always remained professional with Jungkook.
In all honesty, Dea-Song had been very upset when Ava and Jungkook had decided to end their relationship. He was very fond of Jungkook and thought his sweet little girl had found her soulmate when he had finally met Jungkook himself. Truth be told, the circumstances under which they met many many moons ago weren't exactly ideal. He had just randomly shown up at his daughter's apartment and was met by Jungkook. Of course, he already knew who he was and was hoping he'd run into him so he could reveal Ava's lies. With everything he had found out about Jeon Jungkook while Ava was in Busan with Kim's Call Center, he knew immediately that Jungkook deserved better. He didn't deserve to be lied too and he didn't deserve to be misled like Ava was doing to him.
On top of that, Dae-Song was upset that his precious daughter was hiding who she really was just because of the impact her last name has on people.
"We're doing well sir, we just arrived. But the ball looks beautiful so far. How are you enjoying yourself?" Jimin politely answered their boss' question while Jungkook was still trying to gather his scattered mind.
