My smile drops when I focus my eyes on Namjoon. Why is it such a problem for him that I'm interested in Ava? I can't imagine them actually being a couple. So I wonder what's caused his behavior whenever I'm with Ava. She slept with me yesterday and she doesn't strike me as someone who would cheat..
Besides, she would've told me if she was in a relationship.. wouldn't she? With all the flirting we've been doing and the sex, I sincerely doubt she's seeing someone.
But then again, if she's single.. why would Namjoon react so harsh on Ava and I? I want to say he's jealous. Maybe he wanted to date her and I ruined his chances with her?
I don't know what to think about this too much, but I do need to figure out why he's against dating colleagues.
"What about dating colleagues?" I ask, trying to keep my face serious instead of annoyed. A sinister smile creeps on Namjoon's face while Ava, Seokjin and Jimin seem confused. "Well, it's very simple. I don't allow dating within my company. You're free to date whoever you want, as long as it's not a colleague." I turn to face Jimin with an annoyed expression on my feautures, he let's out a breath and simply focuses back on both Seokjin and Namjoon.
"I honestly doubt that's an actual rule, seeing as your brother seems just as confused as the rest of us." Jimin raises an eyebrow and tilts his head. Namjoon immediately looks at his brother, shooting him a glare. "Well, there are plenty of our employees that are in a loving relationship with one of their colleagues.. so I'm surprised we hold a 'no dating' rule at Kim's Call Center." I raise an eyebrow as I make eye contact with Namjoon. It's now obvious he's against Ava and me being together, but I still don't understand why.
This is the moment that Ava decides to speak up, she hasn't said a thing during the meeting. Most likely because she feels guilty. But this is not related to our business deal.
"So, if there's not actually a 'no dating' rule within Kim's Call Center, then why are you mentioning such a thing?" Ava has a playful smile on her lips and I can't help but think she's amazing. She stood up against Namjoon multiple times already, yes she was mad when she came to me yesterday so I assume Namjoon told her off which has caused her quiet behavior during the meeting. But she knows how to defend herself and it honestly seems he's only mentioning this made up 'no dating' rule because he doesn't want Ava and I together.
"That's none of your business Miss Kang." He's obviously still annoyed and he doesn't hide it well when he crosses his arms over his chest like a little kid.
