I'm absolutely shocked as I open the door for none other than Jung Dae-Seong. How the hell did he know I was staying at Ava's place? How the hell did he even know Jimin and I were already in Seoul? Did he speak to Jimin? He's the only one who I told about staying with Ava.
A million thoughts are running through my mind as I keep staring at Dae-Seong.
When Ava walks into the hall, I see his eyes focusing on her. He smiles at her and looks back at me. He holds out his hand for me to shake, which I do. Out of respect I hold my right wrist with my left hand and lightly bow.
"Hello, you must be Jungkook."
I swallow and quickly nod. "Yes. It's great to meet you Mr. Jung! But I must ask, how did you know Jimin and I were already in Seoul?"
He looks behind me, where I assume Ava is still standing, but a second later he focuses back on me. "Well, Mr. Park informed me you two arrived, but I didn't know you were staying here. I actually came here for Ava."
I turn and focus all my attention on my girlfriend. How does she know Jung Dae-Seong?
"Ava?"
She looks down at her feet and I can see her shaking. My brows furrow as I quickly take a few steps and wrap an arm around her.
"Hey, are you alright? Why are you shaking?"
She looks up and it shocks me to see tears run down her cheeks.
"What's wrong?" I ask again, quickly looking back at Mr. Jung to see if he has a reaction to any of this. I can see his eyebrows furrow as well as his eyes look sad while looking at Ava.
I'm confused as to why he would care that much, but maybe he's just worried for her reaction to him coming to visit. I mean, Jung Dae-Seong is a pretty important man here in South-Korea. He's the CEO of one of the biggest Entertainment Companies in the country. Maybe he's upset that her reaction to him standing there is so severe..
"I have to confess something, but I wanted to wait until after your meeting at Hope Entertainment." I furrow my eyebrows, not understanding why she's so upset. I look back at Mr. Jung and see him frown at me and Ava.
Right now, I'm getting the vibe that I was getting from Namjoon. It seriously feels like Mr. Jung somehow doesn't approve of my relationship with Ava although I have more than enough reason to believe that he doesn't even know about us.
