Dallas was standing on Liberty's porch. "Morning Dallas, your here early!" Liberty's dad opened the door. "Well you know the saying the early bird gets the worm!" Dallas responded. "You should teach that to Libby!" He said sipping on his coffee. "Please come in Dallas" Dallas ran a hand through his hair and walked in. "I'm running a little late so help yourself to some coffee in the kitchen, oh and can you please tell Libby that I'm working till Wednesday, she should already know but I bet she wasn't listening to a word I said. "Okay thank you and yes I'll tell her." Dallas said as Liberty's dad put on his coat. "Okay see you soon" Her dad said before leaving. "Take care!" Dallas said as Liberty's dad shut the door. Dallas went into the kitchen and poured some coffee into a colorful mug and brought it upstairs into Liberty's room.
She was sleeping in the fetal position in her bed, with her phone next to her head. Dallas set the warm mug of coffee down on her bed side table and set her phone beside it. He sat down on her bed next to her and caressed her cheek. "Good morning Libby!" He said in a low whisper. She slowly gained consciousness and smiled at the sight of Dallas. "I brought you coffee!" Dallas handed her the mug. "Thank you!" She said taking a sip. Dallas stared at her beautiful complexion. Her hair was in a tangled mess on the top of her head, she had drool on the side of her cheek, and some crust remained on her eyes. "You look beautiful!" Dallas kissed Liberty on the forehead. "I think your blind!" She giggled putting her coffee down next to her phone.
Liberty quickly took a quick shower while Dallas laid on her bed flipping the pages of one of her art magazines. "Dallas, I really want to meet your parents." Liberty walked out of the bathroom with a towel on the top of her head. "You really want to?" Dallas looked at Liberty as she nodded. "Okay let's go." Dallas put on his leather jacket and Liberty brushed her hair out. They walked out to the cold rusty truck and got in. "I really hope they like me!" Liberty said excitedly. "Trust me they will" Dallas grabbed Liberty's hand and held it in his as he drove.
"Uhh Dallas what are we doing here?" Liberty asked zipping up her coat to shield herself from the coldness. "You're going to meet my parents!" Dallas said putting his arm around Liberty. "Do they work at this cemetery?" Liberty asked looking around. "Nope." Dallas popped the 'p'. Liberty's eyes widened and got goosebumps on her arms. Dallas sat on the snowy ground in front of two tomb stones. "Mom...dad, I know I have never brought any of my friends to meet you but this is Liberty and she is very special!" Dallas said with his pockets in his hands. "Dallas I'm so sorry, I didn't know" Liberty said sitting next to Dallas. "They both died in a car accident two years ago. I was only sixteen so child care services made me go live with my grandpa" Dallas said. "So you currently live with your grandpa?" Liberty asked. Dallas nodded. "I am so sorry how come you never told me?" She asked. "Well, I don't normally tell people because I am afraid they will judge me and I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to feel sorry for me." Dallas sniffled a bit. "Oh Dallas." Liberty hugged Dallas. "Are you okay?" Liberty asked. Dallas tightly hugged Liberty. "I am now..." He responded.
"You shouldn't care about what people think about you, only what you think about yourself." Liberty whispered. "I know I tell myself that but, It's just hard." Dallas responded. "What is?" What's hard?" Liberty asked. "Can we not talk about this right now?" Dallas said. "Okay" Liberty responded
"Well hi, Mr. and Mrs. Sandoval!" Liberty started to talk to Dallas' dead parents. "I'm Liberty Forde, you probably havn't heard about me because let's face it nobody knows who I am...I'm a nobody." Liberty said. Dallas gasped and put a hand over his heart. "That is an insult to me, I know who you are, you are the lovely and beautiful Liberty Forde, and I am proud to call you my girlfriend!" Dallas said staring into Liberty's eyes making her blush. "Yes mom and dad, I have a girlfriend!" Dallas said. "Thank you Dallas for your imput... anyways that pretty much all about me, I'm not very interesting." Liberty replied. "That is so not true, you are such a talented artist!" Dallas said. "Thanks Dallas!" Liberty smiled. Dallas leaned in to kiss Liberty. "Dallas not in front of your parents." Liberty put a hand on his chest to keep him from kissing her. "They are dead anyways!" Dallas leaned in and placed his lips on Liberty's cheek.
