When Dallas woke up the next morning he remembered that someone had left him a message. It was Jake, he wanted Dallas to go over.

Hey dude, I'll be over soon -Dallas

Cool bro -Jake

"Good morning grandpa!" Dallas chirped walking into the kitchen. "We were walking down the hill in Australia." He randomly responded. Sometime he had random outbursts of things he thought he remembered. Dallas looked through some of the mail that had come through. He threw away the junk mail and kept the important stuff like bills. "Oh yup just great, another medical bill." Dallas said a bit frustrated. He tossed it aside and looked through his grandpa's safe to make sure they had enough money to pay the bills and grocery's which they didn't. "I really hope your monthly check come soon." Dallas said to grandpa who was happily eating his oatmeal like a young child.

Dallas left his grandpa at home to rest while he went over to Jake's house. Dallas was in Jake's enormous room and they were playing video games. "Where were you last night? I called you?" Jake brought up. "Oh I was with Liberty" Dallas said concentrated on the screen in front of him "Are you going to have sex with her!" Jake asked "Picking the virgin, you're very smart!" Dallas paused the game. "No I'm not going to have sex with her." Dallas said a little angry. "Why not?" Jake asked. "Because Liberty isn't like that and neither am I" Dallas said getting angry. "Okay sorry I didn't mean to upset you. You must really like her." Jake said. "We are just friends." Dallas said unpausing the game. "Yeah sure, not even you believe that!" Jake said "You totally like her, just listen to yourself talk about her!" "I don't know, all I know is that I love being with her and her smile makes my day!" Dallas said smiling at the thought of Liberty's smile. "There is something special about Libby" "Yeah, you so like her!" Jake said. "Just pop the question!" It really got Dallas thinking about a lot of things. For one of Liberty of course, two how sad it is that Liberty actually knows more than Jake, his best friend of four years, does. "Jake what's my favorite color?" Dallas asked. "I don't know red? Why does it matter dude?" Jake responded playing his game. "No reason." Dallas replied.

"and I don't know what to do. I do like her!" Dallas said proudly to his grandpa as he gave him his medication. "Who are we talking about?" His grandpa asked. "Liberty! I like Liberty!" Dallas said! "Okay so this is what you do listen closely...you go to the store and you buy a canon then you get in it and shoot your way out of it until you land in Spain." His grandpa was talking nonsense. "Okay so what your saying is that I should go and tell her no matter how frightening it is!?" Dallas said. "That is exactly what I said...I think I don't remember." His grandpa responded. "Well what should I say?" Dallas asked. "I wouldn't know boy, I never married." His grandpa responded. "Yes you did grandpa, see this is your wife!" Dallas said grabbing a picture of his grandma. "Oh, no I don't know her." His grandpa swatted the air. Dallas chuckled. "I love you grandpa, now let's get you into bed!" Dallas gently helped his grandpa out of his favorite rocking chair. "Wait, but I want to meet, what's her name...Lily." His grandpa said making Dallas laugh. "Her name is Liberty and you will meet her soon just not now, you have to sleep." Dallas said tucking his grandpa into bed. Dallas sat down and thought of how he was going to pay the bills. Dallas didn't get anything after his parents died, he only got to keep the money in his bank account that he had before they died, but he was running out having to take care of himself and his grandpa. His grandpa does have money and fortunes that he had invested in when he was younger but he of course forgot all about them. So Dallas and his grandpa have been living a poor lifestyle, but they manage with whatever his grandpa gets per month from the government.
