A reunion

Sophie's POV

The very next day . Alarick was standing out of my house dressed black from head to toe even black goggles. He looked strikingly gorgeous in this attire.

I saw behind black lustrous Audi I didn't know what model it really was. I went out he opened the gate and I sat on passenger's side.

He told me yesterday that he is taking me to his house and all of our mutual friends will be there.

He drove the car and I was peeping out of the windows whole our way there. When the car entered gate we stood in front of vast green garden in middle of it there was splendid mordern stylish villa in every way I could gaze around I could sense once word imprinted on the walls of villa that is ' luxury ' . When we entered inside it was spacious and magnificent to look into.

The black was the theme of this house the black walls , black couch even black kitchen. Although this was most breathetaking house I have ever been into one thing that doesn't seems to notice I would feel miserable at such a place.

He has an amazing collection of books piled up aside in the living room I big mirror aside the dining table. My inside geek was admiring the books kept together. The living room was decorated with sculptures , books of business and antique pieces seemed like collected from all over world.

I apparently refrained myself from touching anything because that can put me into huge debt everything seemed precious and expensive here.

Suddenly my eyes beamed with hope if I am going to advance in my career as doctor I can afford myself a house like that. It was overwhelming thought to have right now. It felt nice however.

' You didn't go inside. ' A voice came from my back.

' Come.' He slid his hand behind my waist and drew me towards a door.

As we entered inside this room was huge even huge isn't that big word huge enough for fifty people inside all at once. Huge enough to have it inside a house.

As we entered there was bar lounge at the corner , alcohol distributed to the guests , few people were playing cards , few of them consuming alcohol , smoking cigarettes and indistinct chatter here and there. Soft music playing at background.

Alarick held my hand and took me towards the couch at corner of the room. I felt everyone looking at me for a minute.

Jasper , Noah , Alyssa , Cassie , Andrew and even my best friend Emma they all were sitting in a circle.

' I called Emma . So that you won't feel left out or get bored.' He leaned and whispered in my ears.

' Thank You. Alarick.' I smiled at him.

' You're always welcome. Baby girl.' He leaned and kissed my cheek.

' Woah. Sophia Martins. Sorry Dr. Sophia Martins.' Noah woke up from his place and his hands flunged in the air he hugged me tightly.

' Well she invited me to visit at cafe I did go but when I received the message I was not sure it that same Sophia Martins because I thought she vanished into thin air.' Jasper commented. Everyone laughed your medical career takes every ounce of you even your friend circle.

' You're welcome. Sophia.' Andrew greeted me and I knew that he liked me in high school but I was in relationship with Alarick at that time.

' Meeting you after long time is such a pleasure. Come sit with me.' Cassie's behaviour was quite unexpected she never behaved so nice to me in the high school but I did not mind as I am a person who let go of these baggage and lives in now moment person.

The only one person whose behavior seemed quite resentful towards me was Alyssa Rodriguez real sister of Alarick Alison Rodriguez. She was looking bitter towards the friends whosoever was giving attention to me . She took a glass and gulped a sip of wine. She was so unconcerned by my presence she didn't even looked my way even once.

Alyssa and Alarick looked siblings even from afar they both had black hair and blue eyes while there features totally vary from each other.

Alyssa was most beautiful woman in the room her almost coal hair loomed over her shoulders , big blue eyes and fully pumped lips. She was not bone skinny unlike me she maintained perfect weight and had gym tonned body. She was approached by modeling industry when she was only fourteen and was one of most famous girl in the school.

So there was no way I was threat to her except for one thing I held her brother's attention and she was deeply insecure by that fact. She , Cassie and her group bullied me in the school until Alarick did not step in and started avoiding her she asked me for forgiveness and till then she never even talked to me again that's been years since then.

She did not seemed quite pleased today also as Alarick was again and again ensuring me that I will be at ease with all these people because he knows about my reclusive nature.

' You want a drink.' Alarick muttered low in my ears keeping his hand on my bare thigh while looking into my eyes.

' No. I don't drink.' I spoke shyly my cheeks turned red.

' You don't drink.' He was so close to my face I drifted back a bit.

' No , I don't.' I chuckled.

He licked his lips and said ' What am I supposed to do with you ?' He mumbled and drifted apart and I felt all the eyes on eyes ogling on us.

I thought of vanishing into air. At that moment. Seriously as Jasper suggested me.

' Are you guys together?' Jasper asked with curiosity and Alarick laid eyes on me ' Are we ? ' he raised his eyebrows.

' Umm-- I think ... I think it's so new to put a label on.' I said without hesitation but there has been my few meets with Alarick while we have been constantly messaging each other for last two months.

' Don't put a label on it.' Alarick shooted with sarcasm.

They all laughed looking at me. I threw ridiculous look at Alarick.

' Sorry , sweetheart. ' He pinched my cheeks.
