Noah

Emma's POV

After that night I reached Alarick's house packing all my clothes and stuff to basically stay there as Sophie wanted me. I went inside undid my things and started placing my clothes into shelves.

' So , Emma. How was your day ?' Sophie suspected by sitting on my luggage while cross her legs together.

It actually made my mind wander around different scenerios does she know my involvement with Alarick against her ? I contemplated her form relaxed leaned down on the luggage.

' Why aren't you replying, Emma ?' She smirked at me and positioned herself behind me.

Alarick came to room to greet me I gestured him towards Sophie who was applying lipstick from my make up bag without my permission.

Then when she saw Alarick she moved past me towards him they were at one hand distance she drew him closer and shove her tongue below his neck and planted the kiss. Alarick closed his eyes in the process and was breathing heavily when she got out of the room. She threw beaming smile at me but I stood there paralyzed trying to figure out her actions.

' Does she know that us both ?' I mouthed at him.

' I have no idea.' He mouthed back she returned into room again she grabbed Alarick from collar and threw him. I started to act like I was folding my clothes while my heart hammered hard in trepidation.

Alarick gaze down and her and leaves the room.

' So , what's the plan ?' She leaned closer and whispered into my ears.

Again I had an introspection of my own thoughts. Does she knows or not? was major one dominating others.

' W-- what plan , Sophie ? ' I stuttered while threw her a faint smile. The lump in my throat I gulped even I wasn't eating anything.

' How would I run from this place ? ' She queried I sighed in relief.

' I don't have any plans for now.' She appeared to be irked by the answer and she rolled her eyes.

' Fast. Emma. This could be my last chance.' She vented I saw the exhilaration she had for her freedom the same I had seen before in Alarick's they both were whimsical another their own beliefs.

' I will think of it. Sophie. Just give me time.' She whirled around and left the room.

Alyssa and Noah were going to visit Alarick today. I was getting ready to fetch them on the doorstep. This whole thing was kept confidential from Sophie as they are going to have conversation about her condition which I was witnessing was getting worst day-by-day.

I wore the loose fitting comfortable pair of leggings I owned along with more snuggly T shirt. I greeted them at the doorstep.

' Nice T shirt.' Alyssa jibed while she wore a perfect blacked slim body suit that embraced her figure closely.

' Hello , Soldier.' I clutched Noah with my both hands and gave him a tight hug.

' Guys , Wait for me.' Alarick pit his both arms around us I saw Alyssa rubbing her face in exasperation. I saw her and hugged them more tightly.

While we move apart. This reminded me of the high school when we rode our bicycles all the way to the town without caring what future holds. We were laughing and recalling old embrassing stories laughing at same jokes over and over until our stomach started hurting.

' Does Sophie has an idea what she is going through? ' Alyssa asked in concerned yet seductive voice as if she really cared about Sophie's health.

' No. She doesn't. Emma will make sure she does.' Alyssa's eyes widened at me.

' Emma. Do it in such a way that she could bear the reality.' She needed an affirmation I was quite blown by her worries regarding her.

There were lots of whispers and sneaky words exchanged. While we sat in the group discussing I heard the steps descending from the stairs making way towards the room. I gestured them to be silent and Sophie apparently opened the door and busted in to room.

She stared at us narrowing her eyes onto me then back perplexed she started glaring at us.

' Sophie. We were waiting for you to come.' I faked a smile she gave me a dead stare and walked towards me I stood there she moved closer and walked past me I whirled around to see.

She walked past Alarick and Alyssa towards Noah. Noah.

She grabbed him by the collars and started shaking him unhinged she was throwing her hands in air towards him she used her legs to kick him on his shins.

' Dear. God.' Alyssa put hands on her mouth completely astonished and her eyes were wide at Sophie.

' Argh. Argh.' She whimpered then she shredded tears while bawled her eyes out. She did not stop her attack she continuously bombarded him with punches and physically assaulted him. For few minutes I stood there traumatized. She was venting out all her frustration on him.

Then I took the lead , grabbed her hand still she scuffled to break free and ran towards Noah. Alarick grabbed her by waist and threw her aside on the rug.

Noah was anguished and severe injured strached nail marks all over his face. We all stood tormented puzzled staring at each other yet nobody held Sophie accountable for her capricious behavior. I paced forward towards her.

' Sophie. Apologise immediately. ' I demanded.

Then I looked at her she laid on the floor her soul left her eyes she was almost crippled trying to mouth words quivering totally benumbed.

Alarick took her inside the room , Noah and Alyssa left the house whole Sophie laid on my legs unconscious I was stroking her hairs and weeping seeing her condition.

' I'll go and fetch some food from kitchen.' My teary eyes met Alarick and I nodded in an agreement.

While Alarick exited the room. I thought why did she attacked Noah ? She willingly paced forwards towards him she didn't harmed Alarick or Alyssa and more importantly does it have to do with that day ?
