Day - ONE

A good bye

Emma's POV

I drove my way back to Alarick's house today Alarick and Sophie are going to depart to Manhattan I am already running late I drove faster than usual and reached at their residence. I rang the bell.

' Emma , Come Inside.' Alarick greeted me by a hug.

' Quite cool in here.' I remarked.

' That's because of my presence.' I turned around to see Andrew sitting on the couch crossing his legs on one another.

' How did you manage to get up early you left my house at four in the morning ? ' I snatched his breakfast plate and took a bite from it.

' Did you guys hooked up last night ?' Alarick started at us ineptitude while Andrew chocked on the food but I could feel the surge of heat running inside my body my cheeks turned red.

' Yes. We did. I am going to look for Sophie.' I admitted and scramble up towards the stairs.

' I have to say someone is really wild.' They both laughed I threw wire kept on stairs towards Andrew with full force but no avail. He chuckled and winked at me while I was out of breathe when he began to see with his sedate gaze I forwarded with my steps.

' Sophie.' I saw her wearing a long loose T shirt which even didn't fit her size her woobly legs tall fragile physique her hair clutched together she turned around and gave me smile. That ease me up a bit although I never knew I was tensed till now.

' You and Andrew hooked up.' She chuckled that irked me to the core.

' What's so funny about it ?' I inquired rolling my eyes on her.

' Funny. I will tell you a funny story. Do you remember Noah's wedding?' I know what she wanted to vent about that Andrew praised her in front of me.

' I don't know enlighten me.' I put hand on my cheek and acted unaware in front of her.

' When he paid me the compliment.' I yawned ' That was never meant for me it was meant for you.' I froze in middle of yawning and closed my mouth in instant and examining words said by Sophie. I shook my head in disbelief.

' No. Never. You are just saying to make me feel good about me.' She was folding clothes her hand stopped in middle of it.

' Why would I do that ? ' She stared with puzzling expressions towards me.

' Because you are nice , Sophie. You are nicest person in eternity.' I took the apple and bite it which was kept for her to eat but I don't mind sharing.

' That still doesn't make sense.' She laid eyes on me in disbelief.

' It does.' How exactly ? My inner voice snapped back.

' Listen he told me when you went away to fix your makeup that he found you surreal and beautiful. He asked me your phone number.' I almost stuffed my whole mouth with apple and began to chew faster.

' Well before I fixed my makeup I looked like a fucking clown.' I remembered it glass cleared . Don't men really have strange taste ? Not all of them.

' While he was complimenting me his gaze was on you the whole time.' I bloomed like a sunflower in the sunlight . He was really... still... but.. no...maybe.... argh

I assisted Sophie in packing her language and then James helped us in getting luggage down accommodating them on one another. We drove our way towards airport. Andrew sat with Alarick on passenger's seat while he drove I sat with Sophie behind along with Sophie's local Sherlock Holmes.

There was music bustling out loud I was singing louder than Andrew. Alarick asked Andrew to pivot his attention towards the road but we were  singing loud.

I elbowed Sophie whose wan eyes was staring at lanes without any purpose.

' You remember this song. You were in medical school at that time and asked me to listen to it. Now you are again going to start new chapter in your life. Déjà vu.' I emphasized on Dèjà vu part and atleast she smiled at me wholeheartedly.

' Are you worrying that what future might bring to you ? Trust Alarick for once.' I whispered in her ears while her eyes outstared Alarick.

' I will trust him. I do trust him.' There were several emotions backing her words.

' I will visit you in holidays. I want to cycle around New York , go on to shopping and ogle on to hotter men.' The last part caught attention of Andrew he was leaning on the seat watching me carefully while good for him to get over me.

Sophie signaled me towards Andrew who was staring at me with serious intensity.

' I will come along with you to visit them.' He titled his head a bit and I reverted my gaze back to Sophie.

' I will take it as a Yes.' He permitted himself.

' I won't go with you.' I freaked out glaring at him. He turned forward.

' I can buy ticket and visit.' He said coolly and I was still blabbering the whole time to Sophie many a times it caught attention of Andrew he showed his opposition of those illicit words by raising his eyebrows.

Whole time during three hours trip towards airport in the morning I was cheering Sophie up whose face was like pale moon not any beauty I could see only the troubles even though that meant insulting Alarick and Andrew. She laughed hysterically once I was delighted to see her happy.

When we reached our final destination I was helping James to undo luggage and Andrew was shaking hands with Alarick then he hugged Sophie a good bye.

When I was done with putting all the things down. I hugged Sophie who hugged me back forcefully liberating all the love she had treasured for me.

' I'll visit you. Alarick will e-mail me the address.' I began to cry while this time she stood firm at her place I felt hands on my shoulders caging me I looked at manly beautiful hands. Andrew.

' I will miss you.' Sophie said in low I dwelled into her eyes and saw panic risening.

Alarick caught me sobbing he came closer and bore for a big brother hug while his eyes had tears he smiled at me.

' Now you guys go. Just go.' Alarick , James and Sophie took all the luggage in their hands and darted towards the entrance while I stood there with waved my hands in the air gesturing goodbye until they didn't reach the end they were about to get invisible.
I lost part of my childhood. I had this feeling although I did not lost it yet.

Andrew turned around and he had a call to attend he was late for his work.

Until the moment.. Sophie turned around from and saw me behind with a unsual gaze a cool jolt of fear ran my spine she had million mixed emotions inside her eyes and I felt excruciating painful at the same time my heart palpitating faster wildly.

The next few upcoming days I was enjoyed Andrew's presence in my life we were literally similar people we were enthusiast about adventures , we were crazy about fitness , we did take our work seriously and above all we had most bed crackling and bone chilling chemistry.
