An End

Sophie's POV

' Sophie I sent you my wedding card on instagram you didn't responded. ' Alyssa gave a look to Noah.

' My guest list is full. I don't think so I can manage one more name.' She spoke in her low seductive voice sipping wine from the glass.

' I have added her in mine.' Noah confirmed with smile.

' I don't think so Noah I can make it.' because apparently bride herself doesn't want me to appear in your happiness . From Alyssa's face it was quite clear that how much she abhorred the idea of me even being present there.

' Oh , shut up you are coming and that's final.' Noah declared it with so much conviction that even I was not sure about it.

' I would have an better excuse my green backless gown.' Emma murmured into my ears.

Here was I not being able to decline Noah's request to be there for his big day or not and my dear best friend has even decided her dress , hairstyle, makeup , nails and even her footwear. Just Emma things. I thought to myself.

' We should get up for couple dance.' Alarick in a swift took out his hand and I handed mine firmly he pulled me up and dragged me towards the dance floor.

Beside me I could see Alyssa and Noah dancing . Alyssa knows how to dance like that. Well anyways I look a glance at the epitome of beauty in front of me and he was already looking at me in awe.

We stood in front of each other until he crossed the distance his hand slid across my back he drew me more close I giggled he loose me a bit. He gave a wide smile from ear to ear.

He then stroked my cheeks with this knuckles and I retraced my face with my hands.

We sat in front of each other he took my hands out and I looked at my tiny hands and then his hands , his long fingers squeezed mine and then he loosed them again.

He ran his nose against my hair I could feel his breathe and when music began to play we started dancing slowly even our bodies following rhythm of music.

Then when music became fast he threw me away and then pulled me grabbing my waist his fingers stroking it my hands clasped around behind his neck.

' Enjoying baby girl.' His tonned deepened and his voice was sounded different than he usually do. It was more masculine.

' I really am.' I gave him full wide smile
showing my crooked teeth.

Then we started swaying our bodies to the song. He was swinging me , throwing me and drawing me closer. First time in my whole life swept of feet seemed relatable I have never danced with a man with slow music in background. A dream which every average girl like me has.

His hands were clutched in mine. Suddenly his hand went up on my upper back and the other one was at my waist. He drew me little closer almost and kissed me. gently.

After dancing for about thirty minutes at most. He took my hands and made me sat with Cassie.

Cassie seemed nicer person than she was in the school after some time I was literally gossiping with a girl who bullied me in the high school. Let past be past. There was a part of me still hesitated to let out anything that can put me into trouble but a part of me also started to trust her.

Then Jasper joined us after few minutes he was literally life of party whole time , he was here and there and then he sat with us and made us laugh till our stomach hurted.

I scanned the room but couldn't find Alarick. I saw Noah , Alyssa and Andrew standing together but where is he ?

Just like our school time Jasper made sure of making us comfortable and nobody is left unentertained. Jasper was the kindest person throughout the school I could always count on him whenever I was in mess during school time.

' Jasz. I really wanna thank you for being there for me. Always.' I smiled at him. Cassie went aww at that moment.

' Girl , seriously I don't even remember I have been there when. You vanished in thin air.' Now , get over this Jasper.

After when we were done with our food . Alarick approached us.

' I am dropping you home. Get up Sophie.' His expressions were tensed I got up from my seat and followed him from behind.

We went out of his house. He opened the car gate for me and I sat inside and wore seat belt.

' Cassie told me about your new Manhattan deal. Congratulations. ' I caught sight of him he was in no mood of being delighted at this moment. My smile faded seeing his furious expressions.

' Alarick , you know I am still not sure of Noah's invite ? Do you think I should join the wedding ?' There was no reply he looked irked by something.

I have never saw him so displeased. Is he the same man who was dancing and laughing few hours ago. I was not sure.

He hastened the speed of the car I was sitting beside looking at him . What provoke him so much that he is not even bothering to reply to me.

I sat there without making noise even without uttering a word. I was annoyed by his behavior atleast he can respond me.

' We have reached your house.' I saw at side of the lane. I undid my seat belt.

' Alarick. This behavior is totally not justified you could have atleast reply me. You rushed the car on the way apart being aware that I am scared of speed.' He faced me and raised his eyebrows.

' Yeah. I am sorry.' He apologized and looked in front again.

' What has happened Alarick ? ' I demanded he tapped finger on steering wheel.

' You have reached your house now go.' That was disrespectful I was about to go out. Maybe I will ask him later what was the matter with him. Yes I'll it's better to go right now.

' We are not meeting from tomorrow onwards.' My eyes went wide I am dumbstruck by what I heard.

' Wh -- What did you say ? ' I was on verge of breakdown all the emotions started overwhelming me.

' I said that you won't message me or call me by tomorrow. Just as you heard.' He proclaimed quite determined to break off contact.

I looked out of window and gasped the air.

' Can I have a valid reason ? ' I am asserted to that fact if I had done something wrong .

' No.' He replied without even looking at me.

' Okay. Goodbye Alarick.' I opened the car door and slammed in rage and ran towards the gate. If he saw me being that vulnerable I was about to cry out loud.
