Unreal

Sophie's POV

I ran out of the breathe due to suffocation but he did not remove his hand for once. All my attempts were in vain. I struggled kicked here but after I was aware of something I was not strong enough to let go of this hold. A tear rolled down on my cheek seeing Alarick manhandling me. Oh ! He could never . I thought to myself.

Then I felt a cloth of back he was tieing piece of cloth around my wrist tightened it. He gagged my mouth and then he knelt down and tied my legs.

' I am coming back in few minutes. Wait here.' This wrath in his eyes this hatred I would not be able to bear it. For a few moments when I saw him in front of me I was not sure he was same person from yesterday.

Yet I was terror stricken is he going to kill me if I did anything that displeased him ? I stood there bawling my eyes out I tried to scream but it had no affect whatsoever. I tried to find an escape but when I took a step further I thumped on the floor on face. The more movements I made the more bruises got deeper the more painful it became.

After some time wrestling with my fate. I heard footsteps approaching me I saw black shoe in front of me I gazed upwards and saw his face. He put his hands around me and tried to put me on my legs then he bent down and removed cloth around my legs slowly his hands move then a moment he was beside me removing cloth from my hands . I stood there immobilized I removed gag from my mouth and threw that away. I saw my wrists the bruised badly it has been tied tightly around them.

Without thinking twice I ran from the room. Alarick followed me. I ran and reached end of the door knocking it out with full force.

' I have locked it.' I grabbed him by his collar and threw him aside. Then I ran towards the other door but it was locked therefore was every window , each door inside the house.

' Why you want to go away from me ?' He asked in his low disappointed voice. I threw him a furious glare.

' You can trap me inside the house but not for too long. Remember that Alarick.' I knew what he was capable off but I can not die without even trying to save my life.

' I did not wanted to do that either. You forced me.' I threw kick in air and raised my head to see the cieling folding my arms in front of my chest.

' You have to let me go.' I insisted emphasizing on each word separately.

' No. I won't. ' He ignored my appeal.

' You have to let me go.' I yelled at him and I cried helplessly in front of him.

' I can't I did last time it took you almost decade to come back.' I wept my tears off and sat with holding my head.

' You can't cage me long Alarick.' I said with a confidence yet I was myself not sure about it. I was first time in my life was scared of getting killed each time I held my gaze with him there was terror in his eyes each time I raised my voice on him my tongue trembled I was frightened to the core.

I got close to him in between his legs got closer and held his head in between my hands drawing him closer.

' Why Alarick ? ' My hold tightened and I butted my head with his head.

' You won't come back this time if I let you go.' In a moment I removed my hand and turned around to move away he grabbed my hand I removed it.

At last I was tired from screaming , fighting and get frustrated. I accepted for few minutes that this won't have an alternate solution.

I went inside the room fetching my mobile phone for ordering food.

' Where is my mobile phone ? ' I removed cushions but couldn't find it.

' I have kept your mobile as well as laptops safe with me. You can watch TV if you want.' I turned back and threw cushion at him.

At that moment I knew I fucked up. There were no contact to outsiders . I could not talk to anyone from my friends and family and inform about my situation.

' I wanted to order food. How would I do that now ? ' I sounded obvious but he took cushion from the ground and placed it on bed.

' I'll do that for you. What will you like to eat.' I thought maybe he will give me my phone to order food. How stupid I really was.

' I have lost my appetite.' I took my stethoscope from the ground and kept it on the table.

All the emotions overwhelmed me. My job which I loved wholeheartedly which never made me feel I was lonely when I had none of my friends. Would I be able to return to hospital and  wearing white coat again. I did not knew.

' Alarick , let me go.' I touched my stethoscope gently.

' The delivery boy will be reaching soon.' He answered and turned around to walk off the room.

I gazed down on the floor. I was so happy yesterday at this time we were at lake I would crave a day like that terribly again. I remember each moment passed meticulously.

This all seems so unreal like a worst nightmare or an illusion I have seen his worst devil face flaring with anger I have seen him smiling like an angel whenever I catch glimpse of him now and then I don't know who this person is anymore , where am I ? besides this has become a known place which will be in my memories not for good but for the start of miseries because I did not knew what was next to come or end of it.

Alarick received the food parcel I saw the keys of the house where inside his pocket of the jacket hung on the entrance of the house.

Just like yesterday we sat across each other without uttering a word had our food. Many a times I caught him looking at me when I was not looking at him but I resisted looking into his eyes because I did not wanted him to pity upon me nor I wanted him to do anything for me. I just wanted nothing from him.
