There he was, chin up high, riding upon his dark brown horse, next to the carriage where the princess rode. The soft wind which blew past, as they neared the Kingdom of Ice, ruffled his black hair which was blazing red at the tips, lips red and steady, his dark brown eyes darting around the forest, in alert.

His black uniform whose chest, a flaming red streak of cloth ran across, embroidered in gold string, glittering with colorful yet proud badges of honor.  His gold sword carved with the Kingdom's crest hung on his side. His hands gloved in black gripping the reins and booted feet buckled on the stirrup. The Kingdom's crest engraved on the horses' chest gear gleamed in the soft sunlight.

They finally reached the border that held the two Kingdoms apart.

He dismounted his horse and approached the armed men guarding the border. He ruffled through his jacket and pulled out a scroll, the invitation.

"I am Choi Jongho, Captain of the Royal Army of the Kingdom of Fire. I hereby ask you to let us through, hence your King had sent us an invitation" he said, with pride in his voice.

Jongho showed the invitation to the guards who scanned through the parchment paper and saw their Kingdoms' crest stamped on wax at the end.

One guard who was probably the leader, commanded the others to let them through.

Jongho nodded and mounted his horse once again, and lead the way, allowing the ones behind him, to follow.

The horses stepped into the snowy grounds of the Kingdom of Ice. Their hoofs digging deep into the snow. Everyone looked around in a amazement. The icy wonders they have never seen before seemed to be even more beautiful.

Jongho frowned in confusion as little snowflakes now littered his hair and the flowy mane of his horse. His narrowed his eyes and focused on every minor detail as the corners of his lips curved ever so slightly. He looked forward, not losing concentration.

Large pine trees stood massively and frozen lakes and ponds with water decorated the ground. Every citizen who joined in the journey marveled at the white snowy environment. They were not used to the cold nor were they used to seeing such beautifully detailed snowflakes and little flakes of snow.

The princess peeped out of her carriages' gold window and held out her hand as a number of flakes rested on her palm, but sizzled after a few seconds, upon contact. The royal family was warmer than the normal people in the Kingdom of Fire, so when in contact with the snow for long, they melted. But nobody cared because new batches of freezing snow would rain down from the sky. The skin of the members of the royal family, was warmer than of its' people, so the snow melted faster on the princess's palm than on Jongho's.

The princess's younger brother too reached out of the window and caught a few flakes in his palm.

The King kept his eyes forward, not wanting to marvel at the things he did not have. But his people were already amazed by the wonders of this Kingdom.
