The wedding day kept creeping closer and closer and that didn't give Jongho an excuse to not fall deeper in love with Yeosang.

Their secret meet ups in the evening, the short glances they shared and the passionate yet painfully wrong kisses were what fueled the two lovers up.

Yeosang was in his room with Wooyoung and Seonghwa who were plopping grapes into each others' mouths. "Why don't you two eat like normal people? You're a prince and son of a duke for gods' sake" Yeosang had his chin on his palm, obviously troubled.

"Not our fault you're missing him" Wooyoung stated the obvious situation and got a painful nudge in the ribs by Seonghwa.

"Not my fault I have to marry someone I'm not in love with" Yeosang threw a useless comment.

"Is that your only argument?" Wooyoung shot a glare at the lovesick boy.

"Yes, sadly" Yeosang let himself fall onto his bed beside Luna.

"Boys, boys. What is all this about now? Yeosang, you just met him in the morning. What's there to miss about that captain anyways?" Seonghwa said, while plopping another grape into his mouth.

"What's there to miss??" Yeosang shot off his bed. "There's so much to miss about him that I can't even speak about. Too much to speak about, really. I just miss him, is that a crime?"

"No, it's not. And Wooyoung, we all know that you want to see that general from Earth too" Seonghwa said.

"Which general?" Wooyoung questioned, acting all innocent.

"Choi San. You know which general I'm talking about. And it's obviously him that you think about, considering the fact that all other generals are old and wrinkled" Seonghwa smiled, in a rather teasing manner.

"Fine, fine. I want to see that handsome man again. I admit" Wooyoung popped his lower lip out. "But why isn't Yeosang going to see Jongho if he misses him so much?"

"You're right! Why aren't I?" was all Yeosang said before dashing out with his cloak.

"There he goes" Seonghwa shook his head. "Go on now, go meet your handsome general" he advised Wooyoung before the boy ran out. "Kids these days. Why do they only look for status and figure? Aren't supposed to fall in love with cute famers too? Like me?" he plopped one final strawberry into his mouth before smiling and going out, to see his own lover.

Yeosang was riding Midnight on full speed. The cold wind ruffled his hair and flakes of snow brushed past his pale yet flushed cheeks. He knew where he had to go, and his gut said that it was where he'd find his lover.

He slowed down by the frozen lake and a bright smile made its way to his lips as he saw a familiar figure standing by the edge. The redhead turned around and waved at the pale boy who almost fell trying to dismount his horse.

"Jongho!" he exclaimed as he rushed into the warmers' arms. "I missed you. So much"

Jongho brought one of his arms around Yeosang's small figure and the other stroked his soft hair. "I missed you too"

Seeing his lover made Jongho's heart melt. He had seen him in the morning but he would never get sick of seeing his beauty. No matter the times he saw him, he would always get mesmerized each time as if he saw him for the first time.

"It's your wedding in two days... Aren't you supposed to be helping out?" Jongho sounded rather cold.

"I would rather spend my time with you" Yeosang smiled, bringing painful guilt to the other.

"Yeosang?" Jongho held his shoulders.

"Yes?" the boys' eyes widened in curiosity.

"What if someone found out about us? Well, except for the ones who we trust" Jongho bit his lower lip.

"Well, I haven't thought about that, but... I wouldn't want anyone to find out. Because no matter what, my father would accept me and Sunghoon would always help me out. It's you I'd worry about. Your King won't stay still if he finds out you've interfered his plans" Yeosangs' eyes drooped.

"What plans?" Jongho asked.

"Your Prince, Mingi, he told me something he had overheard" Yeosang finally felt as if someone lifted the weight of the sky off his shoulders, because he finally found a chance to tell Jongho.

"What is it that you haven't told me yet?" the other questioned.

"He told me, that he had overheard the King discussing with his advisor, that it was their plan to use whatever offspring the princess bares as a powerful weapon to conquer our Kingdom. The child that the princess might bare, even though I have no intention in contributing, would be the most powerful, Jongho. He or she would be a child of both royal ice and fire blood. As the mother obviously has more authority over the child, they plan on taking over the kingdom through him, or her" Yeosang said.

"What... Is that why you will not make love with the Princess?" Jongho asked.
So you know about his plans now.

"Jongho, are you stupid? I don't love her nor have any intention to make love. I love you, not her. And after hearing what Mingi had to tell me last night, the distaste worsened" Yeosang laughed. "Besides, we don't have to worry as long as I'm in love with you" he laid his head on Jonghos' unusually tense shoulder.

"Of course" he smiled, hiding the truth behind his distress.

"Captain Choi?"

"Yes, My King?"

"Stay away from the Prince if you want to live"
