Yeosang slipped into his riding outfit and made his way out of the palace. He found Princess Chaeyoung in her red ruffled riding outfit, standing by her auburn horse and Midnight.

"Good morning Yeosang" she smiled.

"Good Morning, Princess. . . Why are you out today?" Yeosang asked.

"I thought of going for a ride, mind if you show me your Kingdom?" Chaeyoung said.

Yeosang gave a slight smile and nodded, he couldn't say no to the Princess. He wanted to go to the lake as well, hoping that Jongho would be there, but apparently, the princess would be tagging along and she would obviously blow his cover.

"Let me take you on a tour" Yeosang didn't mind helping the princess up, he mounted his horse.  He watched Chaeyoung mount her horse, the way he threw her feet over her horse, the way she buckled her feet on the stirrup and the way she gracefully held her horses reins. She did each of her movements as if she'd been trained, and as if someone would plan an attack on her Kingdom if she messed up.

She was the perfect princess, who grew up surrounded by royalty and royalty only.

"Let us go" she even said her words in extra care.

"Of course" Yeosang didn't need any more talking, he commanded Midnight and galloped off towards the outside of the Palace, snow and pebbles stirring upon Midnights mighty hooves. "Hyah!" he urged Midnight.

"Yeosang! Wait!" Yeosang pulled on his reins and glanced back, Princess Chaeyoung was far behind him, following him in a slow trot. The way her family had raised her was enough reasons for Yeosang to not provide his hand in marriage.

Being the kind Prince he is, he waited for a while and rode upon Midnight in a slow trot, the Princess and her horse beside him.

"What's his name?" Yeosang asked, hoping to start a conversation.

"Oh? Her name is Amber" Chaeyoung smiled as she patted her horses neck.

"Ah, her. . . She's beautiful" Yeosang wasn't lying, Amber had a gleaming brown coat of fur and a mane with a darker shade of brown, and soft eyes. She seemed smaller than Midnight, so the Princess rode slightly below Yeosang.

"Thank you, so is yours. He's a majestic white stallion" Yeosang sensed awe in her voice.

"He's Midnight. . . I know, he's white, I just decided to call him that" Yeosang said, just in case Chaeyoung would ask him why his horses name was Midnight, even though he was a white horse.

"Why, did someone joke at his name?" Chaeyoung giggled.

"Y-yeah. . ." Yeosang's lips curved into a slight smile and his cheeks felt heated.

Chaeyoung glanced at Yeosang, finding a slight tint of pink embracing his cheeks. She couldn't help but let a soft giggle out. She was quick to cover her mouth and gulp it down.

"Why are you laughing?" Yeosang asked. Was he too obvious?

"No, Yeosang. You seemed to have blushed" Chaeyoung stated.

"Oh," Yeosang patted his cheeks. "I'm sorry you had to see me in this state"

"I do not mind, my Prince" Chaeyoung slightly bowed.

"Where must I take you?" Yeosang asked as they slowed down by the village.

"Show me around your Kingdom" Chaeyoung breathed in the cold air, sending chills down her spine. Her collars and edges of her hoodie were lined with brown fur, keeping her warm. Her hands were strongly gloved.

"As you say" Yeosang commanded Midnight as they trotted towards the village. "This is the village. Which is pretty obvious" he pointed out towards different houses made of brick or rocks. "Our villagers live here, in these houses"

Then he gestured towards an aisle where shops, markets and bakeries were at. "The baker at the corner shop makes good bread. Would you like some, Princess?" Yeosang asked.

"I would love some" Chaeyoung nodded.

Yeosang then ordered a guard who had followed the two, to buy some warm bread.

The guard ran off towards a bakery with brownish walls embedded with stones. He then came back with a paper bag and handed it over to Chaeyoung.

Her nostrils were tingling by the warm smell of bread. She took a bite off of the corner, the soft bread almost melted on her tongue, allowing her to savor the taste vanilla. The tantalizing taste brought a smile to her face. "This is really good, just like you said" she then tore a piece and fed some to her own horse.

"Should we continue?" Yeosang extended his hands.

"Yes, please" Chaeyoung kept nibbling on the bread while her horse followed Yeosang.

"These are the houses of our Kingdoms nobility. Dukes and so on. They've helped my father run this Kingdom many times. They've fought by our side during the number of wars we've had." Yeosang showed her much larger houses which seemed richer and full of luxury.

"They have pet wolves?" the Princess's eyes widened in amaze as she saw grey wolves fiercely walking on the borders of some larger houses.

"Oh, yes. The nobles and royals own pets. Mostly wolves. The normal villages had dogs too of course. Fathers carriage is led by massive polar bears. Being at this age, I'm still afraid of them" Yeosang chuckled.

"Polar bears? They're probably huge aren't they?" Chaeyoung finally brushed the crumbs of bread off her face.

"They are abnormally big, Chaeyoung. You should see them" Yeosang said.

"We have grizzly bears and lions as the royal and noble pets. Like your fathers carriage is pulled by polar bears, ours is pulled by lions. Just like you said, our lions are amazingly huge too. I've never seen lions like them" Chaeyoung giggled. "Should we ride in the forest, Yeosang?"

"Sure, we can go to the forest" Yeosang said. The two rode into the forest, leaving the guards who followed them behind.

They rode deeper and deeper into the forest, Chaeyoung following Yeosang, more like Midnight. It was leading them deeper into the snowy forest.

Yeosang knew, where Midnight was taking him to. He didn't want to share his place with the Princess, and nor can he turn back now.

After a while, they came across the frozen lake gleaming in the soft sun.

To Yeosangs horror, a manly figure, black hair with red tips, was standing by the lake. All Yeosang wished for right now, was for the man to not turn back until he rode away. But his prayers were not answered.

The boy swiftly turned towards them in alarm.

"Yeosang? Princess Chaeyoung?" the boys eyes widened as he bowed down to one knee, his arm bent infront of him, in respect.

The princess observed the boy closely, and she felt herself blushing. "Jongho?"
