Chapter 1 - Sophie

Hey guys, this is xXxSophieFosterxXx. Hope you like my story!

"Hey guys, I found this awesome crystal in Candleshade and I say we check it out", Keefe said as he entered the room.

"So- this is what you called the meeting for?" Sophie clarified.

Of course he had.

Keefe had hailed her early in the morning and announced that he had found something important in Candleshade. Sophie had also hailed Biana, Fitz, Linh, Tam, Dex, Marella and Wylie to come over to Havenfield to see what he had found. She didn't like dragging her friends to danger, but this could be important. And if the crystal led to one of the neverseen's hideouts, she was going to need all the help she could get. 

The crystal in Keefe's hand was gold with swirls of silver. Sophie had never seen anything like it, despite all the different crystals she had light leaped with. 

"Bet my mom hid it because it leads to some super secret place the neverseen doesn't want us to find", Keefe added. "Let's go find it!"

Sophie turned to the rest of her friends. "Are you guys up for this?" 

Fitz, Biana and Bex immediately replied with a yes! Tam and Wylie shrugged and Marella and Linh nodded. Sophie quickly let Grady and Edaline know what they were going to do. Surprisingly, they agreed almost immediately. "We trust you know how to be careful" Grady said and Edaline hugged her and said she trusted her. She thanked them and after convincing Sandor, Grizel, Woltzer and Ro, they created a beam from the beam of light.

"Foster?" Keefe started. "Is something wrong? I can feel the waves of worry radiating from you."

"I'm fine", Sophie assured. "Just worried. The neverseen could be waiting for us. This could be part of their plan."

"Then we will fight them. Like we always do."

"That doesn't always turn out very well"

"But this time all of us will be there for each other. And we are much stronger than we were before".

Sophie relaxed a little. "I guess you're right"

"I always am, Foster"

The friends formed a loose circle and grabbed each other's hands. Sophie stood on Dex's left and Keefe held her other hand. Was Keefe's hand sweaty? What was that for?

On behalf of the whole keeper fandom, I pronounce Sophie the Queen of obliviousness. 

Then together, they took a step into the light and let it sweep them away.

"Where are we?" Biana wondered aloud.

The same question formed in Sophie's mind. They were in a wide place, atop a hill. A strawberry farm was visible nearby. 

"Who are you?" came a voice. It belonged to a boy with dark hair and sea green eyes. He wore a denim pant and an orange T-shirt that said Camp Half-Blood. What did that mean? Next to him was an athletic-looking girl with blond hair that was tied back into a ponytail. She seemed to be studying them with her storm-gray eyes. The boy was holding a sword with some funny- looking runes on it. Linh must have seen that as a threat because she formed a wall of water between the boy and girl and the elves.

"Are you demigods?" the boy asked.

All of Sophie's friends looked just as confused as she felt.  

The dark haired boy turned to look at the blond girl. He pointed at Linh as he said. "Think she's my half sister?"

"What do you mean?" Tam, who may have thought of that as an insult, demanded.

"I think Poseidon would have let you know if she was", the blond hair girl told the boy and ignored Tam's question.

The boy finally noticed that the elves were looking at them like they were speaking gibberish.

"Now, now. Don't look so confused. I'm Percy Jackson", he pointed to the blond girl beside him. "And this is my girlfriend, Annabeth."
