Percy wished he could be an elf.

Sure, he had some pretty handy powers but elves could levitate and walk through walls and who knew what else. And as a bonus, they were super good-looking. All of them.

He was fascinated by how Shangri-La and Atlantis were real.

Now the elves, the two demigods and Chiron stood on top of Half-blood hill and traded stories. Percy and Annabeth told them about their wars with Kronos and Gaia.

''Hold on'', a blond elf with ice- blue eyes said. (Percy only knows Sophie's name) ''What is this Tartarus place? It kinda sounds like a dental problem.''

The memory of the place made Percy shiver. ''Let's just say that the home of monsters is the least popular place I've been too.''

''And Percy and Annabeth are one of the only survivors from Tartarus'', Chiron added.

''Wow. And I thought exile was bad'', Sophie said.

Then the elves told them about their story, something about black swans and a band of rebels called the Neverseen and legacies and lodestars and evil mommies, blah, blah.

Most of what they were saying didn't make sense to Percy. He tried to listen but his ADHD didn't help. And judging from how restless Annabeth was getting, she was experiencing a similar problem.

''Seems like we both have our shares of near-death experiences'', Sophie said once they had finished.

Annabeth gasped.

When Percy looked behind the elves, he saw why. Behind them were two gray skinned, seven foot tall- things, and another creature who was even bigger, had pink colored pig tails and was wearing really weird armor.

Percy uncapped riptide. "Stay back", he warned.

The elves looked mildly confused. The blond guy next to Sophie turned around and said, "Relax, man. Those as just our adorable little bodyguards."

Bodyguards?

"What do you need bodyguards for?" Annabeth inquired.

"Protection against the Neverseen", a dark-haired elf with teal eyes said. He stood on Sophie's other side. "Our parents are a little overprotective."

"For a good reason", one of the gray-skinned creatures said with a meaningful look at Sophie. Percy couldn't help but snort at his squeaky voice that so did not suit him.

"What's so funny?" the creature asked.

Percy shook his head. "What are you?"

"I am a goblin. I'm Sandor", the squeaky-voiced goblin said. "So are Grizel and Woltzer."

"And I am an ogre. You can call me Ro", the female with the armor said.

"Wait", a girl with teal eyes said. "We still haven't introduced our names."

"Gosh", the blond elf started. "Where are our manners? I'm Keefe, but you may call me Lord Hunkyhair."

"Lord Hunkyhair?" Annabeth clarified.

"If this guy meets Leo, it's the end of the world", Percy joked.

"We would get the same result if you get to know him", Annabeth pointed out.

"Leo's the one who came up with water boy and aquaman!"

"I have to meet this Leo guy immediately", Keefe announced.

"Back to the topic, I'm Biana", the teal-eyed girl said.

The other boy with teal eyes introduced himself as Fitz, Biana's brother. Another blond elf with dimples said he was Dex. Then there were the boy and girl with the same dark, silver-tipped hair who were Tam and Linh and it didn't take a genius to figure out they were twins. Another blond girl with tiny braids in her hair introduced herself as Marella and a dark-skinned boy said he was Wylie.

"If I may add, I'm Chiron", Chiron said. He gestured behind him. "The activities director of Camp Half-blood."

"But that's just a farm", Sophie said.

"Only demigods can see the camp", Annabeth explained. "But we can grant you permission to enter."

"Which is a good thing because I would like to give you a tour of Camp Half-blood", Chiron stated.
