Chapter 6 - Annabeth

I really liked this chapter, hope you do too :)

"T-Typhon?" Annabeth stuttered. "And Loki?"

"Again?" Percy wailed. "Can't the gods be quite for a few centuries? Every time we're saving they're butts and somehow they manage to make everything go kaboom again."

"Well, the gods don't really plan this", Chiron reminded. 

"Still."

"Yeah, even I'm tired of saving the world and dying", Leo says.

"Uh- could someone fill use in?" Tam asked. "Who's this Typhoon?"

"Typhon", Annabeth shudders "Was the most powerful monster the gods faced. It took them years to defeat him."

"It was the same for the Titans", Jason said. "But we defeated them pretty fast."

"I have a feeling Typhon is worse. He is a son of Gaia and tartarus!"

"So were the other giants we defeated", Piper said.

"Typhon's the strongest. He like - broke Zeus' bones!"

Percy grinned. "Wish I could have seen that."

"Percy!", Annabeth scolded when thunder rumbled.

"Whoa - did the thunder appear just as Percy said that?" Fitz asked.

"Yeah, Zeus is the god of the sky", Jason said. "He doesn't like it when people insult him."

"I wonder what god I could be", Keefe wondered. "Hmm. I know! Keefe Sencen, God of the hair!"

Everyone gave him a look.

Keefe pretended not to notice and said, "Tammy could be god of the shady stuff - or rather, god of the ugly bangs and Fitz would be... Hmm... GOD OF THE SNUGGLES!"

Everyone except Fitz cracked up. Including Nico. Even Tam's mouth was twitching. 

"We should become besties", Leo told Keefe through laughs. 

"We're getting off track", Annabeth said, though she was trying very hard not to giggle.

"Wait", Percy stopped. "You call Tam, Tammy?" When Keefe nodded he asked Annabeth. "Didn't I fight an empousa named Tammy once? At Goode?"

"What's an empousa?" Keefe asked sounding interested. 

"Don't -", Tam started.

But Percy said, "A female vampire monster with a donkey leg."

Keefe smirked and looked at Tam and told him, "I'm calling you an empousa forever."

Tam face palmed.

"Back to seriousness", Annabeth reminded.

"Okay", Keefe said. "What's the problem with Mr. Forkle?"

"Who?"

"You said said something about Loki, right?"

"Yeah, he's the Norse god of mischief who my cousin Magnus has fought before. If he is set free, it's literally the end of the world."

"What's new?" Nico grumbled.

"Loki is real?" Sophie asked.

"Yeah", Annabeth answers.

"But one of the black swan's leader, Mr. Forkle said that Loki was a myth started by him. His middle name was Loki."

"Apparently, he has a misunderstanding", Chiron says.

"Why does this Neverseen want to cause chaos, anyway?" Will asked.

Sophie shrugged. "It's their hobby. And we don't even know half their plan."

"Bet you mommy dearest is behind all this", Keefe says. 

There was silence before Chiron says, "Well, this time your fight is going to be much harder than before. Which is why you will need more help."

"Camp Jupiter it is", Percy finishes.
