Estelle's POV

This is just a special chapter, untealted to the main story.

Estelle's POV

It all began when a little girl got kidnapped at a supermarket.

Estelle Blofis, a six-year-old girl had gone grocery shopping with her mom. Sally Jackson was checking out some blue icing and blue food color when the child got bored. 

Suddenly, something caught her eye. 

It was a blue rubber ducky bath toy. pin.it/2eA5cTH It got her excited because it reminded Estelle of her big brother Percy, who owned at least six rubber duckies. She missed Percy; he only visited around three times every year, every time he was on vacation from college.  

She crept away from her mom and towards the toy, wanting to get a good look at it for some reason. She moved to the rack it was on, which was one rack ahead of where Sally was. Alas, it was a little too high, just out of Estelle's reach. She closed her eyes while stretching her hand as high as she could manage and when she assumed that it was far enough, she waved it around, only to find nothing. She opened her eye.

The rubber duck was gone.

Confused, Estelle looked around and saw that it had somehow moved to the rack behind the one she had seen it on before. She went towards it and tried again, this time with her eyes fully open. Like last time, it was a little high. When her fingers were close to touching the toy, it vanished. 

And she could see it on the rack further away 

Now she was really confused.

Estelle decided to try one more time before going back to her mom. She forced her eyes to stay open and reached for the rubber ducky. Praying it would work, she jumped a little and-

Another hand grabbed the toy. Estelle craned her head up to see a tall man in a neat suit. His hair was grey and had very funny eyes- one if which was brown and the other, blue. But the look on his face was scary. He smiled evilly with his thin mouth and extended his arm toward her. Estelle wanted to run away from the man when she saw the rubber ducky in his hand.

"Do you want this, little girl?" He asked while offering it to her, although there was an edge in his voice. 

Estelle trembled with fright, afraid of who this man was. Nevertheless, she wanted the ducky for her big brother and lifted a shaky hand to grab it. She wanted to take it, and run toward her mom. 

But just when she touched the rubber Ducky's beak, the man closed his palm into a fist, trapping the little girl's hand in it with the toy. 

Estelle screamed. "Mom! Mooooom! Help me, Mooooom!" 

No response. 

For that matter, she couldn't hear the people in the supermarket anymore. Almost unable to move, Estelle turned her neck around and saw that the place was deserted, except for herself and the man. 

She trembled and tried to pull her hand free, twisted and turned it in every direction, but she was simply too weak and the man too strong. 

Tears poured out her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. "L-let me g-g-o", she begged the man. "P-p-please?" 

The man tutted. "First, I want you to come with me".

Before she could cry or scream again, the man picked her up swiftly and ran out the supermarket. He moved with impossible speed, the building, trees, cars and streets around looking like blurs. 

Estelle screaming at the top of her voice, until her throat went raw. Then she cried, and cried, hiccuping every now and then. She tried calling for her mom, for anyone who would help.
